Will be wearing these for my races this spring. My previous shoes were Vaporflys and Alphaflys and so far I like these better. These have been much more durable to date. [ These Brooks shoes are great! They are super lightweight and easy to run in. They have a great padding behind the heel which keeps my feet from sliding in my shoe. It also helps prevent nasty blisters from forming and rubbing. I love that they ’ re made of a breathable mesh material so my feet to not overheat. When I put these shoes on I could feel like bounce in the sole. After running a few miles, my feet did not get tired and I felt like I had a good amount of support. I ’ ve tried these both on the treadmill and outdoors and the bottoms seem to have sufficient traction for both settings. My only comment would be that normally I prefer a shoe that has an adjustable tongue as that seems to keep my foot in place better. Overall, great shoe!

I was hesitant to spend so much on a pair of running shoes, but with the 2025 Tokyo Marathon on my calendar, I thought I 'd take the plunge. I really like the EVO SL and the density of the foam and heard the EVO was simlar. And it is. Not squishy like the Pro 4( which I did n't like). Amazing rocker. Nice lockdown even for my narrow foot( although I had to wear a thicker sock). It's a tad slippery on wet surfaces, I tripped on some wet stairs on the way to the start, but the weather was sunny and hot so no issues on the course( water stops were okay for the most part). I 'm running the 2025 Berlin Marathon and plan to use these again, and have a couple other marathons I might break these out. I think I can get 3- 4 marathons in on these as there's barely any wear after Tokyo( I 'm 5'10 '' and 130 lbs so that might have something to do with it).

After a less enjoyable Vaporfly 3, I was ecstatic to try these on and immediately notice the similarities to the Vaporfly 2 which was previously my favorite Nike racings shoe. “ Adding lightness, ” in the words of Lotus, is the best thing you can do whenever you already have an incredible design. Laces have improved slightly, and are still the best on the market; these don ’ t stretch and don ’ t come untied. Durability is always the tradeoff with some foams, and is the only possible criticism of this pair.

Nike Vaporfly 4 Proto This racing shoe is somewhat uncomfortable, but yet quite fast. The support near the ankle is not very secure, but it works. Laces can be an issue though as wearing this racing shoe requires a tight lacing setting due to it's low amount of secureness. This is an issue as it will be too tight, or not tight enough. Having it too tight will result in when taking off the shoe, having a stingy sensation on your foot( 5 mins). The Vaporfly 4 Proto also uses a Jordan 1 styled toebox which means it will be slightly uncomfortable. The racing shoe runs small, so go a size and a half up. Not only that, but the ZoomX foam is not very durable. I would recommend NOT washing this shoe or any Vaporfly/Alphafly due the ZoomX foam which is very fragile. Apart from all this, the Vaporfly 4 Proto(s) is an acceptable choice for racing due to it's stiffness with the carbon fiber plate and the cushioning ZoomX foam.

Reluctantly switched shoe brands after more than 20 years running in Nike. My favorite shoe was the Nike streakfly, before that, it was Nike free ’s. When Nike changed up the streakfly and added a carbon fiber plate, it was time to find a new shoe. But nothing in Nikes lineup compared to them. I need something flexible and lightweight. Without all the marshmallow cushion and carbon fiber plates adding stiffness. Something with relatively low heel- toe drop. These shoes are dying out. I decided to give these a try. It was between these and Saucony Kinvara 15. The only reason I didn ’ t go with the Saucony, is because they don ’ t offer a trial period on running shoes. And I ’ m glad they don ’ t now, because I am more than pleased with how these felt. They have a bit higher drop than I ’ m used to. I normally go for under 7mm. But honestly, I didn ’ t even notice it. These were on the upper end of weight that I normally go for also, but felt very lightweight on my feet. I was concerned about flexibility, but that also surpassed my expectations. I did an easy 5 mile run and my legs felt strong and lively. I could have kept going. I have always gotten “ hot spots ” on my toes when breaking in a new pair of Nikes that would require mole skin wrap for a while, but no hotspots spots at all with these! The toebox has ample room to let your toes spread. My new go- to shoes!

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

It's lighter but does n't feel too flat. They are my first “ plated ” racers, so it was a new feel for me, but as someone who has owned many pairs of Brooks, it was also very familiar. They are comfortable and lightweight, with a surprising amount of support for a non “ support ” shoe( I normally buy GTS). Much happier with the GTS 24s than the 23s. They do feel a bit more snug than my 22s, could possibly be the breaking in aspect though. The newer models have been sturdier and have more padding in the tongues and heels. Not the lightest shoe on the market but it is comfortable and supportive. I use these for gym wear, stairs, walking, and shorter runs! Forever a fan of Brooks!

Great shoes for Planter fasciitis, I had the Gel Kayano shoes, but the pain was n't improving. Got the GT- 4000- 3 and the pain was less, added Dr. Shools Planter fascitis inserts and further improvement. Im seeing continued improvement the longer I 'm were the shoes. I just ordered my second pair of the Rubatos to replace the ones I ordered a year ago. I walk about 1- 4 miles a day and have worn these on about 66% of those walks. They provide plenty of cushioning and support. I can wear these for long periods of time without my lower back and feet hurting. Suggestions to make this the perfect shoe: a little bit better ventilation, a little more width in the toe box and maybe add 1mm to the lugs. The lack of availability in colors and sizes makes me think these are or will be discontinued:>{ I wish Merrell would make more zero drop shoes and sandals.

The Nike Structure 25 Extra Wide is my favorite sneaker ever. I have flat feet and wear orthotics. My orthotics fit like a glove in these sneakers. The Structure provides great support for runs and are stylish enough to wear with jeans or shorts in the summer. I only wish Nike offered more colors/styles in Extra Wide. After running in the Torins and getting injured, like a fool I researched after. Knowing I need supporting shoes, I bought the Paradigm 5s and absolutely loved them. Once they wore out I bout the the 6s the foam was too soft and not supportive like the 5s. The 6s were also not responsive like the 5s. I took a gamble on the 7s because I heard they were firmer and they are way better than the 6s. People that started on the 6 probably wo n't like that, but people who started before the 6s and went to Paradigm for support will love them compared to the 6s.

Thank you, Altra for giving us the only zero- drop stability shoes with moderate/high cushion in the market. As someone who has had knee surgery and back issues, this shoe is a godsend. Super comfortable and stable. The arch support and the guidance rails are perfect. Please do n't change this combination Altra or discontinue this line. My only request to Altra is to give us a trail version of this gem! Currently, none of the Altra trail shoes have an arch support and guidance system.
