I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

I walk 1. 5- 2 miles per day around my neighborhood for cardio and balance. In the past I relied on NewBalance and more recently Sketchers. As I have aged( now 73), the NewBalance insoles have become too hard. Sketchers are comfortable but the soles are too soft to last on pavement. I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I 've had my cloudsurfers for two years and was in need of a fresh pair. I tried these on in store and the tongue is super stiff. One of the reasons I bought these was for general walking, a full week of Disney specifically, and they have been nothing but perfection. Especially for my arches/plantar fasciitis. Everything seemed fine except for being a little more stiff, specifically the tongue that cuts into the ankle. This seems to be a ridiculous trend among a lot of different brands lately. Not being a stranger to On Cloud shoes, I bought these from the sale table( my size is hardly ever on a sale table at Dicks!). They are very light, fit like slippers and walk and run very well as they cushion your feet. Post 4- mile run. You can tell these shoes are ment for distance, long runs, 6+ miles. A friend ran a marathon in them and the consistency of comfort stayed the whole race. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. Overall 9/10 for what they are meant for.

The best daily trainer I ’ ve ever ran in. It ’s so light and snappy. It makes running effortless. It shines in faster paces, but is still comfortable and stable at slower paces as well. I usually get some joint issues going longer distances, but the foam soaks up all of the shock while still feeling firm and responsive. On top of that, it seems to be very durable. It ’s overall an incredible shoe.
