Though I am a physician, I am somewhat of a physician skeptic. I had a relatively severe shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injury in college many years ago. The shoulder has never been the same, but `` tolerable ''. It had been getting worse over the past. year with significant pain, particularly with certain movements. I saw the orthopedic surgeon who recommended shoulder `` re- hab ''( physical therapy) and I was very doubtful that this would help. I read the literature that they provided me, got a set of resistance bands and started doing the exercises several times a week, as instructed. Much to my surprise and delight, my shoulder pain got much better along with my flexibility and functionality. I can now do exercises that I was incapable of doing two months ago with minimal to no pain. I was not looking forward to surgery and glad that I was able to avoid it.

My only true issue, is that the carabiner on the band itself is kind of small. The strap that wraps around the carabiner is thick, and it's a bit annoying to attach the handles. I 've had these sandals for two years now and they 're the actual BEST! I bought the grey color for a trip to Europe where I 'd be doing a lot of walking, and they were super comfortable right out of the box- never caused blisters, and the cushioning is just right. They were very versatile, especially in the neutral grey color, and I could use them for daytime walking as well as slightly dressier dinners in the evenings. The tread on the bottom was great for a few mild trail hikes as well as walking through the cities. I got lots of compliments on them, and a few ladies in our group purchased them while on our trip because they liked them so much. They still have plenty of life in them even after several years of regular use, but I 'll definitely be buying a second pair when these wear out!

I purchased the medium bands to try out. What I found was that when added to my bar on my weight rack, the bands adds resistance to a greater range of motion. I'vw since our based the light, Medium and Heavy in pairs and found that they are an amazing add to my bar in my weight training. I thought these bands were gimmickie, and that's not to say they are n't, but definitely not what I 'm using them for. I suffer from far less joint pain after workouts and have been lifting heavier since adding the bands. I highly recommend adding these to your power training.
