I bought it( although pricey) because my swing speed is in the low 80's and i am the shortest length off tee in my group. Back in the day I had the Callaway FT Optiforce and loved it. It was light, easy to hit and really long. I first set foot on a golf course in 1995 at Nevis and the fellow I was flying for rented me a set of Callaway's. Since then, I have wanted a custom set of Callaway clubs. Last year I bought a complete custom set of irons, pitching and sand wedges with a three wood. I 'm seventy and this year could only get 140 yards out of my thirty- year- old driver. The experience I had with the Callaway three wood made me think I may do better with a new driver, so I bought the Star for its light weight. I 'm now driving 170 yards but that is n't the best part. It is very easy to hit good drives with this club. I 'm not topping balls or making other miss hits like I used to with the old driver and that alone removes strokes and adds yards to my game. I have played with the new driver twice and last time out I broke 100 for the first time. I enjoy my Callaway clubs very much and the Star driver has changed my world. It's worth every penny and more.

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! What was previously a 230yrd snap hook across to the next hole or between holes from a toe strike will now travel around 270- 280 landing left fairway/left rough. I don ’ t usually write reviews, but this club has genuinely changed my game. I ’ m a 13 handicap who ’s relied on a 3- wood or hybrid off the tee for years just to stay in play. After trying multiple drivers( and lessons) over the past decade with no success, I finally found something that works. I have had this Mini Driver for 4 weeks and it is everything they say it is. I am just turning 80 and have been a fader all my life. At this age you lose a lot of distance and it hurts your game. I got the 11. 5 degree and initially set it up with lower loft but then discovered by increasing loft it is an awesome fairway club also. I was shooting in the mid to high 90s and now I am playing in the low 80s and shot my age at 79 from the white tees. This club goes long and straight and without a doubt the best club I have ever owned. In a normal round I will hit it 32 to 35 times and score in the low 80s VS high 90s without.

This club is literally a game changer for me. I am a pretty long hitter with my driver despite my age( 265 yds, 69 years old) but my home course is very tight. I found myself making great shots off the tee but winding up in trouble simply by hitting it 10 yards too long or off the fairway by only a little bit. I used my 3 wood to eliminate these misses but I hit that club only 220 and I wound up with too many 150+ approach shots into my club's crazy rolling greens. I decided to go with a mini driver and after hitting 3 different brands I went with the 13. 5 Callaway. My driver is 9° and my 3 wood is 15° so I went in between and it's the perfect fit. The technology allows me to drive the ball 240 yards and I can work it both ways easily. Because of the 3 wood shaft length I can control the direction and the larger head gives me all the confidence I need looking down those tight fairways. Also the sound and feel of this club is incredible, so much so that I 'm thinking of now replacing my driver with Callaway's driver. BtW, I decided to drop my 5 wood from the bag as I hit my 4 hybrid about as far and it works for my course's layout. I can see possibly dropping the 3 wood on other, more wide open courses. Bottom line I 've dropped 3 strokes off my handicap after switching to this mini driver( 10 to a 7) and I could n't be happier with the performance.

Had the QI10 Max and really struggled off the tee. Just moved to the AI Smoke Triple Diamond and am hitting nothing but bombs. Spin around 2200, carrying 290+ with a nice baby fade. I found a Triple Diamond still in the plastic wrapping on the used rack at a PGASS. I took a chance and put it up against my old Epic Speed driver from 2021. I was shocked with the improvements. With the heavy 14g weight in the back I was seeing some real gains in distance but that wasnt the big story for me. The toe and heal strikes were not nearly as far off line as my old driver and that was the selling point for me. I always am very skeptical of the OEM claims that are put out but in this case Callaway was right on the money.

I switched from the Callaway BB Epic that I had since that released, so about 6ish years. I have seen about 10- 20 yards of gain from this driver, and also the consistency of the ball flight is unbeatable. I have never felt so confident with a club and loved a club so much. Please consider getting fitted before purchasing, but I hope you highly consider buying this club as it is one of the best on the market, or THE best in my opinion. I 've had Taylor Made drivers in the past. The Qi10 is the best. I love the sound at contact and even better, the ball lands in the fairway the majority of the time. I switched to the Fujikura TR Ventus Blue Shaft( previously Red) and hit the ball on a flatter trajectory which helps me find the fairways more often. If I need a little more hight, I just adjust the loft sleeve. All in all a great driver.

A few months ago I purchased the ZXi 3- metal. I opted for a Tour AD DI- 6 shaft upgrade. This club has been amazing. Without hitting it first I ordered the LS driver with matching upgraded shaft.
