Loved my Venu 2, my Venu 2 Plus, and now my Venu 3. the 3 seems to do a better job with consistent sleep tracking, HRV, and other metrics, and I like the new watch display. Cool it has skin temp, although I have no idea whether that is valuable. I use the option to keep the display on all the time, and the dimmed view works well and I still get decent battery life.

This Garmin Venu 3 does more than I do. I 've barely scratched the surface with it. Every day, I learn something new about it. One thing I especially like is the fact that it goes days and days without needing a charge. My previous watch had to be charged every day. I would like to see wireless charging available for it, though. I do n't like having to plug in those four tiny pins to charge it.

Here are my reviews of various features: Battery Life The battery life on this watch is incredible. I can go a full week without charging, including multiple workouts per day, wearing it to sleep, etc. HUGE perk right there. Health Tracking There are so many health tracking features on this watch, including EKG, SpO2, HRV. If you are looking to have a better grasp on health features, this watch checks many boxes. Large Screen My eyes need all the help they can get, so this large screen is really helpful. Fitness Tracking As a very active person( 4 strength training days per week, 3 runs per week, and pick- up pickleball 3- 5 times per week), I love having a watch that will track my progress. The Garmin 965 is the perfect watch for those who want to get into any activity, indoors or outdoors, but who does n't want the full suite of features the Fenix series offers. Since buying and setting up this watch, I have only had to charge it a handful of times. The touchscreen is super useful to be interacting with all of the features on the AMOLED screen. The stress and heartrate monitoring while I 'm sleeping is really nice too. Now that the 970 is out, this is an excellent deal if you can find one on- sale!

Like all new tech, it took me about 3 days to start enjoying my new watch. Watching YouTube videos really sped up that process. Now I love it. Sturdy and robust design built for the hardships of everyday wear in all conditions. Great fitness tracking, gps, sleep monitoring, and the flashlight is awesome. UI is kind of weird like in most garmin products but the button interface makes it friendlier than most. Best suited for the committed adventurer and athlete. The solar display is less vibrant so watch faces can be a bit dull, the simpler face the better.

I bought the Fenix 8 after a couple of less- than- optimal experiences with competitor products. After several months with the watch, I am convinced that there is not a more thoughtfully designed sports watch on the market. Everything on this watch just works, and Garmin has thought of everything. Even small details like the watch automatically ejecting water from the speaker after a watersports activity speak to the level of detail that Garmin focused on when designing this watch. The software is fast and fluid, the screen is brilliant, and the health and exercise data collected is precise and presented in a useful and palatable format. The only thing that I feel could use some improvement with the watch is that when I take a phone call from the watch, there is evidently a lot of microphone feedback, as in people talking to me through my watch hear a significant echo of everything they say. Overall, an excellent watch that I feel is well worth the higher price tag.

The battery life is amazing and the GPS capabilities are unmatched. The AMOLED face is super bright even in the direct sunlight. Upgraded from my Fenix 7 to get the full color display. Much more vibrant and readable, with excellent battery life( about 3 weeks with moderate GPS use). As with prior models, it is a bit of a chore to get the menus, display fields, and the watch face customized to your liking, but after that, it just works, with excellent functionality. Main hesitation in recommending it is just the price. Unless you use the microphone/speaker functions( which I do only occasionally) the main upgrade from recent models is the display and battery life.

The functionality of this watch is seemingly endless. It is great for regular wear and covers normal watch features, and the screen is bright and easily visible even in sunlight, which is a huge change from other digital watches I have had. The exercise tracking provides a plethora of health tie ins that really give a good idea of how effective that walk, run or hike was and the GPS mapping shows performance throughout the entire route. I ’ m not entirely sure about the sleep tracking. It seems to do a fair job, but sometimes tells me I had a nap when I have just been reading or watching a movie. Great idea and probably some real functionality to it. Lastly, the look is perfect. The dark grey titanium and the sapphire glass is awesome, and the ability to change screens and straps means you can have multiple “ different ” watches with very little extra cost. Overall, this watch is exactly what I have been looking for.

I had a Fenix 6 and bought an apple ultra. Did not like having to charge it every day. The epix has way more features and is just as easy to you use. The only features it lacks is the sbility to answer messages irphone with an apple phone- but never used on the Apple watch anyway, Golf app is more accurate as well.

This is my first ever Garmin Watch. So far I am incredibly impressed! It is so nice I am hesitant to get it dirty and am afraid to scratch it. However, it is incredibly durable and I am amazed at how accurate the rep count is and how comfortable the watch is. There is so much customization and features available! I know I will never be able to utilize up to 10 percent of the watches' potential but I will certainly try and continue to build myself with it.

I love the Garmin ecosystem and have invested heavily in the Garmin fitness products as well as navigation. Coming from the Fenix 5 and Forerunner 955 Solar, I noticed some features didn ’ t carry over to the 7X Pro Sapphire Solar. I miss being able to see Notifications in a folder and the lack of wear- detection passcode are creature comforts for daily wear that I would, personally, like to see back. Other than that, I can ’ t recommend the watch and ecosystem enough.

I bought this a month ago when I saw they were getting rid of them for the Fenix 8's. I had done a product comparison on the site before, and the only thing the 8 had the 7 did n't was an AMOLED screen, and slightly better waterproof rating for the new dive features. That was it. Not enough for me to want the 8 over the 7, or justify the large price difference. Beyond that, this is a huge upgrade for me from my fitbit. I wanted a watch that would be durable and have a longer lasting battery than the Apple or Google watches. I loved it could have increased accurate GPS coverage and maps for when I go hiking. My sister has the Apple and her battery not only dies before a long hike is over, but the GPS is n't as accurate. The health metrics seem to be in depth compared to the fitbit, and I like seeing my training status and load efficiency. I tested this battery last week. Any time you start a GPS related activity it zaps the battery more. I was also out in full sun often so this helped. [ Bought this last month. First of, MJ was great in replacing the first unit I received, which had clearly been used( likely prior buyer had returned it after wearing it). The unit I received as replacement has been phenomenal. Very user- friendly, awesome battery life, and what is impressing me so far is that Coros is very actively improving its features. Just this week they started rolling out turn- by turn navigation. While music functionality is somewhat limited right now( only storage of MP3s on the watch itself I have no doubt this will keep getting better as well. But even if not this watch will serve me very well for running, cycling, swimming, indoor rowing, and many other things for years to come.

[ i did my homework before i bought the Coros Apex 2 watch, so i thought i knew what to expect when it arrived a few weeks ago. i expected the battery life to be longer than most watches that this compares to. i expected that the Apex 2 would have all the features i needed as an avid mountain biker. this watch is more than that. the watch is lighter and more compact than i thought it would be. i am not sure how they are able to provide the functions and battery life in a smaller lighter package. i definitely have no regrets with this watch and i look forward to all the adventures that i will take it on with me.

I ’ ve had it for a couple weeks and I like all the data it provides with regard to quantifying exercise volume, recovery, and optimal levels of activity. As a personal trainer training for several athletic pursuits, it ’s helping me track my recovery. It ’s inspiring me to take my sleep more seriously. I ’ m still learning how to use some of the advanced features. I no longer carry my phone hooked up to my HRM when I exercise. Anyway.. lots of positive changes to my life after finally biting the bullet and getting a smart watch. I am now curious if I could have tolerated the bulkiness( in addition to the higher price tag) of the higher end model. But no regrets. Get this watch.

The GPS has worked great, though I have n't tested it out on routes that might have reduced signal. There is no 'mountain bike' activity, though the regular 'ride' activity works perfectly fine for mountain bike rides. I really like that you can customize the watch face for each activity. Overall, great watch! Highly recommend!
