Got fit for this driver and bought it. Per the results of my fitting, I have the settings down to a 9. 5° loft(- 1° draw setting), and have the 12g weight in the heel and the 3g weight in the back of the club. During my very first round, my slice is nearly gone. My drives are flying much straighter. But the biggest improvement I saw was the misses are nowhere near as bad. Instead of huge slices, the Cobra Darkspeed Max minimizes those greatly to baby fades that miss just right of the fairway in the first cut if you do happen to miss right. Very happy with the results after just one round. I ’ m going to invest in the Cobra Darkspeed Fairway Woods& Hybrid as well.

I have played golf 3 times since buying this driver. My previous model was probably 9 years old and was a Cobra as well. I am stunned by how forgiving this driver is. I have not sliced badly yet! Also, when hitting off the heel or low still having very good results. The distance is superb as well. I am seeing much longer distances. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. I am also impressed with the Lin Q shaft it is easy to swing and it really stable. On top of that it looks awesome and sets up nice at address. If you looking for a great driver look no further.

I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. On my first trip to a driving range and prior to making adjustments to weights I had an unusual for me hook. Once I got the weights properly placed, I was able to get that straightened back out. Now I just need find the best face angle for my swing. I played it on a tight course yesterday and it did n't let me down. I was getting good distance and kept the ball in play

I own a G425 Max driver but traded in some other clubs to get the G430 Max 10k. It came with a Hzrdus 60g shaft, but I found that the 55g Alta CB from my G425 felt better and hit straighter. Feel and Distance are similar to the 425 but off center hits have a tighter dispersion with the 430 max10k. I do n't live near a fitter so it was fortunate that I had the other shaft. Fitting is very important especially with driver. This club wo n't be great for you if you are n't fit properly.

I am about a 15 handicap and was previously using a Titleist TS2 that I could never quite get used to. I rented the Qi10 Max a few different times while traveling and it just “ felt right ” as soon as I started to play with it. Now that the newer models are out, the Qi10 fell within my price range and I ’ m super happy with it after playing a few rounds. The reputation is well earned as it is super forgiving, as my mishits still get plenty of distance. I also feel like I get a better arc on the drives than with my previous driver. This driver is fantastic. I have fought a fade/slice for over 55 years. Now at 72, with this driver, I do n't even have to think about going right. It's straight to a baby draw every time. Exactly as advertised. Like most high handicappers I have a right miss and far to often the slice OB. Taking penalties strokes out of the tee box is a killer as I 've made improvements in the rest of my game. Not to mention the embarrassment. This club has absolutely taken the curvature out of my drive. I still tend to miss right more often than not but it stays in play. A lot of that is set up/alignment for me as I used to have to play for my slice. When I do find the center of the face, it flies as far as any non draw bias club I 've owned. On top of the performance this club sounds amazing. A muted `` thwack '' is how I would describe it. Feel is great too. You can tell where on the club your hitting it but it feels buttery soft no matter what. It's also nice to know as I improve with driver( hopefully), I can slide the weight from Draw plus to Draw. Looking forward to a full season with this bad boy.

With my old driver I was consistently carrying about 225 or 230 and rolling out to 250 on my best day. With this I consistently carry 255- 260 and roll out at 270- 285. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! After three time on the course, she has already mastered this club. I first set foot on a golf course in 1995 at Nevis and the fellow I was flying for rented me a set of Callaway's. Since then, I have wanted a custom set of Callaway clubs. Last year I bought a complete custom set of irons, pitching and sand wedges with a three wood. I 'm seventy and this year could only get 140 yards out of my thirty- year- old driver. The experience I had with the Callaway three wood made me think I may do better with a new driver, so I bought the Star for its light weight. I 'm now driving 170 yards but that is n't the best part. It is very easy to hit good drives with this club. I 'm not topping balls or making other miss hits like I used to with the old driver and that alone removes strokes and adds yards to my game. I have played with the new driver twice and last time out I broke 100 for the first time. I enjoy my Callaway clubs very much and the Star driver has changed my world. It's worth every penny and more.

Tried a bunch of different drivers a couple months ago and I hit the TSR4 the best by far which was surprising because it ’s supposed to be the least forgiving of the Titleist drivers. It ’s been longer and more accurate than my TSI2. On average it ’s about 15 yards longer due to lower spin and my longest drives are about 25- 30 yards farther than my longest drives with the TSI2.

I was fitted with this driver and although it was a bit pricey I gave it a go! I love this driver. My shot grouping on the simulator was tight as well it was on the golf course since I had the opportunity to play 2 rounds with it. Not one tee shot with this driver went out of bounds. On the simulator, I did n't register a lot of distance but knew with the grouping this driver fit my game. It's not always distance needed to focus on but for it to set you for that approach shot just had me blown away. I knew I would work it out to get the distance I needed and it did. I ended up increasing my loft to 12 degrees and the weight set at full draw+ and abracadabra! I am getting my distance back and finding the fairway! Will did a great job of having me try out many other drivers but this driver fit my swing and fits my game. I am grateful! It was money well spent in my bag because I can confidently get off the tee box with this driver! Quit worrying about distance and look at your grouping. Once you are pegged with this driver, you 'll get the distance you need and will be able to stay on the fairway! What more can an amateur golfer ask for? I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

For years I ’ ve always wanted to play a Ping Driver but I always struggled with them for some reason. Mainly I really struggled to turn the ball over and hit a draw no matter how I adjusted the weight or loft. I had a very pronounced miss to the right which is not my typical miss. Also, I never liked the sound and feel of Ping drivers and they lacked distance when compared to other drivers because of the weight of the head despite a counter balanced shaft. On a whim I decided to hit a demo at my local golf store and I was really shocked. Excellent forgiveness, a very straight ball flight even when I didn ’ t put my best swing on it and improved distance. What was even more surprising was a big improvement in sound and feel. Be sure to get the right shaft as well. The Denali Red fit me absolutely perfectly( which could explain my great experience with this driver). Nonetheless the G440 Max is just plain great.

Today was my first round on the golf course with the Aerojet LS. OMG when I hit it correctly this thing explodes the ball. Been awhile since I golfed. On the 11th tee I drove the ball 20 yards further than I ever had before. I 've been playing this same course on and off for 30 years. It's finicky with the stiff shaft... but when I get a good rip on it, geez.. look out!!

Best on the market for my swing as proven out by the fitting process. I tried four major brands in comparison. My current driver was is also Cobra, but from about 2007! I still struck it well, but the tech in the fitting process really helped me ID how to customize this Aerojet to maximize distance and control for me.
