I was not a huge fan of the low rise versions for coverage reasons and upon trying these on I fell in love. They have slightly more coverage, are super lightweight, beautiful colors, and they are great for strength training and running. Overall a great purchase for the spring/ summer. I ’ d recommend going a size up because they do fit slightly small but also because of the slit in the leg it would be easy to get away with going true to size if you are fine with a tighter waist band.

I don ’ t really like to buy clothing with tight elastic bands on the waist and prefer a little bit longer in length. But it ’ d be ok for a short workout. I like the fabric. The 5 ” length is perfect for me as it ’s long enough to not ride up my thighs when I walk/workout. More importantly, I love the fact that the thigh area( hems) aren ’ t stitched. My personal opinion is that Nike ’s biker shorts are made for women with slimmer/smaller quads.
