I bought this item recently. The Allen Key( Hex Key) included in this model was one size too small and did not help in any way during assembly. It will be loose and dangerous to use unless the correct hex key is used. Constructing this item ourselves took about an hour with two people. Why is the Allen key from the manufacturer not the correct size? The height of this stand is good, but weight and stability are indeed an issue. Anyone looking to purchase this stand should greatly consider looking at the user manual and adding/purchasing the additional weights to keep it in place during use. This item was NOT on the sales floor, but rather in a shipping container outside of the shop. It took asking for a salesperson to even show them what we were looking for( through online website of Dicks), rather than being able to shop freely and see the unit prior to purchase. This bag meets every requirement you would need out of a muay thai bag. It is a sand/paper bag and I 've used it a few times so I do n't have any long tern test results. The leather appears to be very well stitched together and thick. I would have liked if it had another sewn in strap at the bottom for anchoring the bag but I do n't believe that is common practice with Thai bags.

I would say to disregard any of the negative reviews about this bag, saying it's flimsy. I almost steered clear of it for that reason until I checked exactly which heavy bags we have at my MMA school and many of them are these models. Yes, they 're softER than some bags could be, but they 're definitely up to par for real training. My guess is that whoever rated them as flimsy got a misfire bag, which could happen 1 out of a few hundred with any brand. I have n't broken mine in yet but when it arrived I was actually surprised that it was even stiffer than the ones we have at the MMA gym. I would definitely recommend this bag.
