[ I had another Columbia Rain jacket and left if on a plane. I researched many rain jackets for what I wanted and ended up going with Columbia again. I wanted it `` longish '', rain proof of course but also warm, zippered deep pockets, and a nice hood with good fastening abilities around the face. Yes, this is a cropped boxy fit and runs a bit big. As long as you know that going into the purchase you won ’ t be disappointed. It ’s a FP dupe and a pretty good one( better than ones I found on Amazon). I am usually between a S and M and will often go with M in items like this to layer. But after reading reviews, I went with a S and I ’ m very happy. I can still layer under it but it ’s not too long, the sleeves are perfect and it ’s just baggy enough to be cute. I ’ m 5 ’ 3 ” and 145 for reference. I got the green and I like it but be warned it ’s a color that changes drastically depending on the light. Sometimes it looks darker or lighter and sometimes it pulls blue and almost looks teal. I ’ m considering buying in a second color because so far it has felt pretty warm and comfy to me.

First off, the product does not have a hood& the cuffs/hood/hem do not have cinch capability. That being said I love this! The hem is shorter in front, longer in back. I am 5 ’ 9 ” about 125lbs( and small chested) and go between small& medium tops. I ordered a small& feel it fits great with room to wear a hoodie underneath for fall/winter/spring hiking if needed. It's super light and comfortable- does n't restrict your movement at all, very customizable( you can let it hang loosely on the hips or tighten it to create shape) and looks great! I tend to bring a jacket with me where ever I go so I love that it is packable. The Women's Montana Puffer Jacket is absolutely the warmest coat I 've ever had. I work outside all day in Western NC and in the winter time I was always so cold no matter how much I bundled up. But not any more. This coat keeps me so warm but it's surprisingly light so I do n't feel like I 'm wearing a straight- jacket. I wish I would have gotten this coat years ago.

I finally found a jacket to keep me warm in NH. with heat rating of 4, I can walk my dog at 6 am and feel comfortable. I put the hood up over my beanie hat and I am still amazed at the warmth. I want to get the longer Montana coat as well. LOVE IT SO MUCH.
