I love this weighted vest! I use it to do both house chores and on walks. The 20 lbs feels like plenty of weight and I am easily able to remove the sandbags if I need to lighten it. I like the way the velcro wraps all the way around and it can be taken off from the side, or front. I went with the 16kgs weight first it was perfect for me. I ’ m male 5 ’ 10 ” 180lbs new to using these weights. It was very challenging at first but after a hand full of of sessions I got the technique and felt comfortable at this weight. It ’s still heavy enough for me. I have toyed with getting next size up but this 16kg weight still is enough when I look at the price for the next size. So far no rust, I have had it for 5 months and really like it. I like the handle size, I usually wear a large size glove, and I have yet to drop it when sweaty.

After I unboxed these I found the quality was very high. The clips that come with this are very heavy duty and high quality. When I went back to Amazon and looked up anything approaching the quality of these dumbbell bars it was more expensive there when I added in two sets of very high quality clips. With the use of these gloves, I have seen an improvement on my grip and less blistering of my palms! I bought this to use with the Ethos Power Rack 1. 0 not knowing it was not meant for this rack. All in all it works, but the bar with pin holes is not long enough to fit both pins. Simple fix, pick up some thick cotter pins to use instead of the pins it comes with and it will fit perfectly. Balloon the cotter pin head so it does n't slide through the bar hole and split the two ends and curl them opposite each other. Purchase cotter pins at auto parts store for like$ 5. See photos.

Would recommend starting off with a small amount of weight, and building up over time, so not to risk stress or strain to your joints.
