I like the weight in the rope rather than the handles. It rotates easily when jumping. The handle were a little slippery when I got into my workouts and the rope was a little curly at first but eventually straightened out.

I used to run a lot when I was younger just getting out of college, but then I stopped a little because my legs would get sore easy. I started reading up on jumping rope as a comparative exercise that has the same, if not better, benefits as running in less time. I saw a some other jump ropes that were somewhat bland and cheap looking, and then came across the weighted rope. It's been working like a charm. It is a little tangly/tight initially because of the material, but after a couple uses, it's fine. I sweat a lot when I workout, so my hands sometimes get slick and the handles could use a little more grip. Hopefully once my body gets more acclimated, it wo n't be an issue.

I lost the weight in the handle of a different weighted rope I was given as a gift awhile ago and needed a new rope. I chose the Lifeline rope because the weight is n't in the handles, its in the rope, which I wanted to compare to the weighted handle style. Its a different weorkout and a better one in my opinion. This rope has better rotation and I like the large handles. The rope was curly in the beginning but it straightened out the first time I used it.

Overall fantastic gym rope, does not coil as bad as my previous rope. Really like how easy it flakes before climbing and flows through the grigri and ATC wonderfully. Fell on it a few times and seems to have a good amount of give but not to much that it feels like it's being over stretched. The wear is holding up well no real signs of damage. For reference it's been winter in CO so Indoor climbing has been have been super aggressive for 3 days a week for several hours/routes. Overall would definitely recommend this rope for gym use!

I have been using this rope strictly in the gym for over a year and it is a workhorse. I flip it periodically, but it ’s been amazing! Rarely tangles, packs away in this tiny tote bag for the gym, and it easily reaches even the tallest walls in my gym. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a gym rope. I 've climbed on this rope for a couple of months now, overall a great indoor rope. Good stretch for soft catches and easy to belay with. Was really slick at first as most new ropes are but has fuzzed up a little as expected. No issue with handling through a GriGri or ATC. Overall a great rope for gym use!

I would recommend this rope for steeper hard sport climbing where the rope does n't have a chance to rub as it's so skinny.
