I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. Note, while these say `` Wide '' for me they are actually normal width and the normal width is too narrow and painful. I wear a 10. 5D in the New Balance, and ordered the same size 3n2 and... well, ouch. Had to war the 460s for three more games. Dick's made the exchange painless and these wide variants were perfect. Lighter than the 460s, the sole gives me a little more grip in the infield and allows me to duck behind a catcher without my foot slipping back too far. Looks like they will clean up nicely too. I highly recommend. You 'll not only look professional, but be comfortable too.

Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. My husband started wearing these boots about five years ago. He has issues with his feet and these are the only boots he can wear and not have pain while working. Since he is on his feet 12 to 16 hours a day that says a lot about how well made this boot is.

I ’ ve been buying this exact boot for years. The wide toe box workers extremely well in landscaping where you up and down laying pavers or building a rock wall. When on the farm walking a lot they are so comfortable and light weight. I buy 2 pair at a time and rotate them so they last several years. Great product please do not change.

I buy new work boots every 6- 7 months. My last 4- 5 pairs were$ 200 Wolverine and I liked them all. It's my 2nd day in the Carhartt and they 're already MUCH more comfortable than Wolverine! Oh, and the Alloy toe is amazing compared to steel toe!!

[ I bought these boots in a EE width and my feet have loved me for it! Great fit, great materials, extremely comfortable out of the box, and an American made boot- to boot. The question you should ask yourself is why you shouldn ’ t buy the Bull Run. The price comes in well under classic red wing and Chippewa boots and these are way more comfortable in my humble opinion. The sizing is fairly true to size with medium to thicker socks but I ’ d dize down 1/2 if wearing thin socks. I ’ m very stoked on these boots!

[ I love these boots. Everyone who works on concrete all day needs this sole. I wish I had tried these years ago. Break in is brutal because the leather is tough and stiff but that is what you need for work boots. Carry some band aids for blisters your first week. I ’ ve worn mine for one week and they are really starting to feel good.

I 'm hard on shoes. Very hard. These shoes have held up very well. They 're also comfortable and do a great job keeping my feet dry. Full disclosure, I had to send the first pair back for a manufacturing defect, but Carhartt handled that well.

I like the ironwood boot. However it seems to be about a half size smaller than the other style I used to buy which have been discontinued. I would have sent them back for the next size up but when I checked the website the next size was sold out. I 'll just have to check later to try and find the next size.
