This winter plaid button up is fantastic. It looks like a traditional plaid, but it's so much better. The fabric is beyond soft and is very comfortable. The tag says that it is moisture wicking and even though I have n't sweat in it, it does dry quickly when I wash it. The fabric does have some stretch to it so that makes it even more comfortable if you are an active person and always on the move. The shirt also has UV protection, which is a pretty good feature even though it's winter it is good to have UV protection. The tag on the shirt also said the fabric is anti- odor and so far I have not noticed any odors. My only wish is that they made more color options of this shirt. Shirt does not wrinkle and has held up great after multiple washes.

Replacing an older TNF Goretex hard shell that held up for a very long time until the zippers failed. First impressions is that the number of pockets and their positioning is exactly the type of thing you did n't know you needed until you have it. Feels light and offers good maneuverability. Just roomy enough that layering with mid layer does n't feel bulky and stuffed. Although the armpit area is a bit snug, I have a Denali fleece so maybe the newer FutureFleece models will fit better. I purchased this jacket for my college aged son. He likes the style, warming technology, and thinness of the material. You would need to wear layers if you were going to be outside in very cold temperatures for several hours. Some reviewers disliked the wrist area, but my son does n't seem to mind.
