In using them, working all day, my feet were n't sore like they have been with other boots. The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. The boot liners had a bunch of animal fur stuck in them, and all over the outside soles. Clearly someone had bought this exact pair before, tried them on, possibly used them, and decided to return them for whatever reason. It ’s very obvious that I didn ’ t get a “ new ” product. I sometimes buy previously used items, but only when I know that I ’ m buying used and can inspect the product first, and usually at a discount. I was fully expecting ” new ” here as It wasn ’ t indicated anywhere that I was getting a used or returned product and I didn ’ t get that. So 2 stars to Dick ’s for not being up front on the condition of what they ’ re selling, or checking the condition of the returns they ’ re reselling. I ’ m not disappointed in the product, hence why I ’ m actually leaving 5 stars, just in Dick ’s quality control and product clarity. I went half a size up( normally I 'm a size 10, bought 10. 5), but they still feel a bit tight on one foot. It ’s not a deal- breaker, but I wish they offered a wide option for this model. Overall, though, they ’ re fantastic boots!

[ i have used these for almost 2 years, basically everyday, doing all types of side work, nature walks, pest control, yard work, snow plow you name it. they clean easy. The water- proofness of them is amazing, along with the insulation, laces held up, high quality boot. ive worn these in warm/hot weather as well. they do not over heat my feet. everything about these boots is a 10/10. just wish they would break so i could buy new ones:)

100% the warmest, best quality, and best looking boots you can get for under$ 150( or even more!). Spent a week combing the internet for good quality boots that didn ’ t make me look like I was either a boomer going hiking, a construction worker, or a 3rd grader at recess. [ Very pleased with my purchase. They run true to size and are super cushy& comfortable. Tested them off trail twice in Vermont and they had good traction on snow and slick pavement. I was also impressed with their warmth. While they could certainly handle a snowy hike, I have boots better suited for spikes& snowshoes. Easily, this is the best pair of work boots I 've ever purchased. I work in IT and while it may sound like I sit at a desk behind a computer screen, I assure you, I am climbing, squatting, lifting, pulling, in cramped quarters, outside, on roof tops, in dirty crawl spaces... All in the PNW, so rain is a constant concern and not only are these incredibly comfortable but they 're sturdy, allowing me to feel confident that my boots will hold up under whatever pressure I put on them, keeping my feet, warm and dry. Buy a half a size lower for slip- ons and you 'll never have to worry about them getting too loose from wear and tear over time. I have two pairs now, the black pair and now the brown ones. I love these boots. Please never discontinue them. They are comfortable and affordable. I like the way they look as they do n't have any bright orange highlight colors. They also have the four quick lace metal tabs for the laces which I think are a must. I 've bought two pairs in the last two years. I found the M width to be a little tight in the toe, but after a month they broke in nicely. This time I 'm going to try the W width. I 'm on my feet 45 hours a week. These boots are perfect.

Good solid work boot. Size runs a touch big- but just a touch. Only on the ground about a month as of now- but solid. I wore out the Brunt version last fall way too quickly- this boot is well made.

Great boot but I upgrade the insole. This is my second pair and im a hands on GC in Utah. I work new construction and remodels and these boots are great. I like them better than Brunt and they last. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. It's a great boot for the price. Better than my double the price Red Wings!
