It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

The “ Arche Rock Pants ”, according to a very helpful person in Consumer Service, are the closest match. The Arche Rock pants have a thin material with no lining and they rustle when I walk. Maybe some of the stiffness will decrease over time. [ I bought these gloves at the height of winter and I have not looked back. They are extremely warm and keep your hands dry in every condition. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

Things that could make it better: Thumb Loops/thin stretchy material at the end of the sleeves, like they have with the first tracks down jacket. Maybe a loop or hole near the neck gaiter area to store sunglasses when not on your face( one of the drawbacks of all pieces with the neck gaiter style). The front chest pocket ripstop is kinda loud(?) when brushed against. Not a huge deal just an inference. Things I love: the warmth, it's surprisingly warm. Pair it with a waterproof shell and you should be good in most places. The fit( subjective), I am usually in between sizes and sized up- it fits exactly how I expect/want, I 'd say true to size. I actually like the small hood, also subjective, but this will stay on my head without a helmet for just wearing casually which is what I wear it for. Probably too small for wearing with a helmet if riding. And a couple really cool features that I never knew I needed: The adjustable cinch at the bottom of the piece allows you to taper/close the bottom towards the hips. One issue I have with 99% of every fleece I 've had is the fabric kinda `` floats out '' towards this hip area when wearing, and makes you look larger than you actually are. This is a great solution for that, so it makes fits quite a bit better with this cinch feature. Another is the pocket- ception, the secret stash pocket within the kangaroo pocket is a sneaky place to store small items. Who does n't love a good stash pocket? Love the print, something other than just one color. I 've been wearing it the last few days and want to wear it all the time, it's extremely comfortable. I imagine I will be grabbing this piece more often than most others in my closet this winter. Very happy with this purchase.

I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in.
