Everything looked good with the exception that 5 of the 7 paracord zipper attachments were missing. '' In person, it is much more of a brighter burnt orange, and I was instantly in love. Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro on the large external stuff pocket just to secure your stuff a little.

My only minor issue is that I wish the bag had a zipper pull on the inside of the bag instead of a zipper on the outside only with a long elastic pull chord. The zipper has caught the fabric and jammed a few times already, but it is easy to pull out and re- zip.

This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. There is one zipper on the right side with a nice long pull cord so my kids we able to easily open and close it while laying inside. This is a mummy bag and has two pull strings on each side which pull it close around their head to stay warm. When open there was plenty of room to add a pillow inside the bag for them.

A good heavy- duty zipper goes all the way across the bottom so that the bag can open flat and there is a neat feature, a Velcro flap that covers the top of the zipper so that it won ’ t unzip in use or allow the zipper to be damaged when zipped up. Purchased this for a camping trip to the Oregon coast. I ’ m 6 ’ tall and fairly broad shoulders, but was quite comfortable in this bag. The overnight temps were right in- line with the recommended use for this bag, and again, I was comfortable in it. My only complaint is that the zipper pull is only on the outside and most of my other bags have one inside and out. That made zipping all the way to the top a little less convenient. Overall I would recommend this sleeping bag and would buy another if I had need for a second.

These are great duffel bags! I ordered the red, green, and white ones. I ordered the small size, because I just need it for daily trips to the YMCA f and maybe for a day or two trip here or there. It will hold a pair of shoes and a basketball, my swimming gear, and a change of clothes no problem. I use the shoe garage for a basketball and put the shoes on the other side to get the extra room when carrying both. If you are looking to carry a lot more I 'd move up to the medium size which I purchased at first, but it was just to big for my needs. The small is perfect in my opinion. The red and white bags really pop, but that Oregon green really takes the take. The black option looks ok too, but I just like the other 3 colors better.

I 'm really pleased with how it can attach on the Farpoint despite not being the Farpoint- specific daypack, because this gives me a daypack with a bit more space. I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

Very suitable for packing into a large backpack. Currently trying it for short- distance day hikes, very satisfied.

You can go to war with this thing. They say it ’s an ultra pack, but it is also the most comfortable pack I ’ ve ever used for MTB ’ ing. As far as how much stuff it stores, it hits way above its weight! You can pack this thing to the gills. It ’s also surprisingly water tight! I ’ ve carried this in downpours only to find my stuff perfectly dry. For light packs w/o frames, I will never buy a different pack for the rest of my life. I now own a distance 8 and 12 because they are so great.

I wanted a light bag. So I do n't regret my choice. It's light and has good storage. It will be useful when hiking. This bag is very famous. There's a reason why it's loved so much. I 'll find out by using this bag.
