I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

The jacket fit my normal sizing( didn ’ t need to size up) with enough room to add a layer or so during the colder months. Initial inspection ended with all seems, zippers and surfaces being in good condition and well made. It withstood the test of heavy winds and salt water leaving nothing to be desired. Additionally if you appreciate a rain jacket with a tall zip up to the neck and comfortable hood, this is a good option.

The new 3L Fabric is a huge improvement over the older Foray, it's robust, has just enough stretch, and overall is impressive. I was somewhat hesitant as they moved away from Gore but seeing it in person I am 100 percent a fan and it's better in every way. The only improvement, and OR please make this happen, is the branding. Make a Blacked out version without the contrasting logos, that would put this jacket as the best among the best.

This is my second of these hats, I wear them every time I run. They are very well built and very breathable. Extremely durable with a comfortable fit, good wicking material( sweat pushed to brim and doesn ’ t drip down your face, I am an extremely sweaty person), and very good sun coverage. Bill works well with most sunglasses( I have large blocky costa Del Mar ’s that fit well under the brim). Only issue I have with it is the tab in the back can be hard to get out of the way due to the difficulty of feeding it back into the hat.

Only had for a season but they seem to be holding up well and be crafted pretty sturdily. For me, it's the perfect sun hoody. I wanted something super light for hiking in the sun and just a little sun protection to prevent me from burning, because I still want the vitamin D. This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

I have Reynaud ’s and can never keep my hands warm. These mittens aren ’ t perfect, I still get cold fingers, but they are the best I ’ ve had in a very long time. The inner mittens are great on their own. I use them primarily for running, but they would be great for skiing and other winter activities. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. The recommended sizing for me was a M. I went up a size and they were snug, but very comfortable. The quality of these gloves are outstanding. This is my second of these hats, I wear them every time I run. They are very well built and very breathable. Extremely durable with a comfortable fit, good wicking material( sweat pushed to brim and doesn ’ t drip down your face, I am an extremely sweaty person), and very good sun coverage. Bill works well with most sunglasses( I have large blocky costa Del Mar ’s that fit well under the brim). Only issue I have with it is the tab in the back can be hard to get out of the way due to the difficulty of feeding it back into the hat.

I like the cut of OR jackets. I am 6 ’ 1 ” 235. The Helium Down does not disappoint regarding warmth. It has that soft down feeling with added structural integrity where one might carry a pack. The gusseting in the arm allow for a full range of motion without much rise. I have long arms and can still draw out without the jacket tightening too much in the back. If for some reason I found myself in dire need of more warmth I could wear it underneath a jacket or shell because it could compress enough to almost be a base layer and not sacrifice its loft. At which point I am certain to roast.

This jacket served me well for 10 years of steady use every winter/fall and I finally replaced it. The quality is superb, the new Pertex Shield on the shoulders/arms gives it a much more durable feel. It has a premium feel in the hand and is a nice blend of weight/durability. Fits great with layers underneath, but also works well as a mid- layer under a shell. I 'm a fan of the new color options too. In summary, this is a durable, lightweight, packable and versatile jacket that does its job in the back- country but transitions seamlessly to the front- country. Highly recommended.

I have a number of OR gear/jackets/fleece. For reference I 'm 5'10 '' and weigh 215 average build so I typically wear an XL in OR and L in some other brands depending on fit. This jacket is very well made and everything fits to be expected except at the waist. It's very small compared to my other OR jackets which surprises me. It is warm but the Storm color is n't accurately represented in the pictures. It's a much lighter grey color in person.

The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

I recently purchased a pair of ferrosi shorts, 7 '' length. I 'm 5' 4 and I think the length is great. They are come to a couple of inches above my knee( long enough that there is no inner thigh chaffing) and the shorts are n't too tight in the leg opening( I 'm more curvy vs slim in the thigh). These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

The gloves are amazing balancing the durability of leather and the performance of gortex. The gloves can be a little stiff but after a day of use they feel start to feel like a second skin. The details are really what makes this glove so great. The pull loop combined with the velcro cuff is a amazing mix that lets you put both gloves on in a matter of seconds. The gloves are plenty warm for just about anything, I 've used them down to below zero with wind chill with just a liner and my hands were as toasty as ever. I 've yet to have a issue with the palm leather wetting out. The only issue I 've had is that velco on the cuff can cause the material around it to fuzz up a little bit but it's barley notice able and is only a visual problem. Overall I 'd recommend these gloves for anyone who is looking for a great ski glove for the slopes, and beyond.

I am a huge fan of this hat. I do not normally wear trucker hats because of the way that they fit on my head. I have been non- stop wearing this hat since I have received it. I love that it also has a sweatband going around the hat as well. This hat also has the original OR logo, which looks very 80s which is super cool.

Hat is super light and packs nicely in your pocket if need be. The brim is pretty flimsy, which makes it not so great for casual biking or strong winds. Not enough of an issue to give 4 stars.

[ I have several Fjallraven garments and like all of them, this vest does n't disappoint. In my opinion it is nicer looking than many other similar ones from competing brands. Provides great warmth when you need it. Maybe a bit pricey, but you pay for what you get- a stylish high quality piece.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

Use these mostly for Montana backpacking. Love that they offer a 34 '' inseam for those with longer legs. The ferrosi fabric is stretchy and lightweight keeping my legs protected from the sun and shrubs during long treks in the Montana backcountry. Love them!

Kids go to a camp in CO where it rains a fair amount so rain pants are on the required packing list. This was the pair they had this year and they loved them. They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. I liked them as they appear to be built well and show no signs of wear after being used for a month long camp.

Bought this hat about 15 years ago. Fishing from the High Sierras up to 10, 000 feet elevation to out in the deep sea and even river rafting, it is amazing! The sun protection is outstanding, the comfort is unmatched and the chin strap has saved it multiple times. It's taken me this long to see some wear that has me not thinking twice about getting another one and not a cheap knock off.

Sun, rain, snow, hot, cold, this hat is it. Any job requiring ear protection…they fit over the hat and still hug the ear while offering protection from the elements. Comfortable, light weight…I buy them just to give to friends so they know the joy of this hat. Seriously! Ask my nephew…I gave him one.

This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. I 've also found that the draw cord makes the hat easy to hang from my shoulder strap water bottle if I need to remove the hat while under trees for additional ventilation. I wish it was still available in yellow.

My wife got a pair of these after I had some for a while. Surprisingly warm glove considering the weight, and if you 're using them for running or hiking in the winter, I 've found them to keep me comfortable to around 5°F. Only thing to keep in mind is that they are n't waterproof so on warmer snowy days they can end up getting wet.

They are taking care of my hands for driving, walking, and recreating in the cold weather. I can throw them in my bag and count on them when I am headed to my kid's soccer games. I have circulation issues in my hands and they can be very painful in the cold weather. These gloves protect me from experiencing that discomfort. I also appreciate the aesthetic look of the white quilted appearance. Easy to clean too!
