These are my daily go- to capris. I ordered this pair because I know my original pair will eventually wear out, although when I pulled them both out of the wash, I could not tell them apart. The knees do not even bag! My original reason for choosing this particular item was the cellphone pocket. This is a must for me. I am amazed that my phone does not cause these capris to sag, even on a cardio walk. The fabric does not wick so I do have to change after vigorous exercise but they are fine for everyday wear. [ I got these for my wife. She said: I am a working mom of 7 young kids and I like to keep in shape both for my physical health as well as my mental health( and sanity!) and I need workout gear that can withstand a lot of wear and tear as well as make me feel good while wearing it. These high waisted running leggings really fit the bill! I used them around the house to get tasks done as well as for both for short( 1- 2mile) and long( 5+ mile) runs. There are both pros and cons to this model- the PROS: 1) the material is SO comfortable and has the perfect blend of stretch and compression. 2) the fabric weight is ideal for spring running- it breaths but it also holds in heat so my legs felt great for the duration of each run 3) The pockets are positioned so I could be hands free and still keep my essentials( like phone and energy gel packs) accessible during the run. 4) the waistband is thick so there is not a small single circle of pressure on my abdomen, which is an improvement from other brands I 've tried 5) there is no seam or pressure point anywhere on the tights that was uncomfortable, so I did n't experience any rubbing or discomfort for the duration of wearing them ever! There are only a couple CONS: 1) I felt they run a bit small, especially in the waist. I know they are intended for compression, but getting them on required a bit of discomfort, especially at the top of the waist- it is exceptionally small. I 'd recommend sizing up if you have a larger waist or prefer more room on the waistline. Since they are high rise, it definitely `` cuts '' into the area under your rib- cage at first and is tricky to pull up. Once I got them up, they were fine and they stayed in place perfectly, but I might size up if I buy a second pair for this reason 2) I feel they are a bit long to be considered 7/8 length( I 'm 5' 8 '' 125 lbs)- they fit more like a traditional legging, which was fine for my use but if I truly wanted 7/8 length I 'd say they are longer than that. Overall these are great leggings for running- they stay in place, keep me cool, held up to washes and wear and tear and still look new, and fit comfortably with no rubbing. I 'd definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to run!

I would n't force my foot through the pants while the ankle zipper is zipped. Again, they are delicate. Once you have them on, you are good to go. Also, these pants could easily be snagged on something and possibly rip. For the price, you would want to take it easy. [ So far, really impressed with Nike ACG! Their line has some very well- designed and functional pieces for all kinds of outdoorsy activities. I ordered these for my brother. Some initial impressions:- They really weren ’ t kidding about the pockets! So many of them( hidden, zipped, small, large, front, back, you name it!). I ’ m not share how secure some pockets are, but in general, very convenient.- The material is very lightweight but sturdy. There ’s a mesh inner layer underneath as well, which looks very breathable and comfy.- The shorts are super adjustable! I accidentally got a large for my brother, but we were able to make it work because of the elastic waist and drawstrings.- The shirts have some loops meant for hiking poles( so cool?!). I bet you could also add a carabiner or something.- I really liked the neutral color scheme. The top of the shorts is gray and has an interesting plaid print.- They are a little pricier than what I ’ m used to, but given the unique features, I think this might be worth it for an avid hiker or if they ’ re on sale. It ’s too chilly to wear these out now, but I ’ m sure they ’ ll be perfect for indoor use or for hikes in warmer weather!

The style of the shorts provided me with ample amounts of space to place my keys and my phone. I also like the inner- lined of the shorts that provide me with support. The amount of space to store things was one of my favorite parts of these shorts, including the loops to latch things onto them. One thing I would change about these shorts would be the fitting of the shorts once I first put them on. The shorts are comfortable but for someone with thicker thighs, the internal lining could cut into the thigh. I would get a size bigger just for my thighs.

6' 0 '' 155 lbs( ie thin frame) male and bought a medium which fits great in length( reaches the top of the ankles) and waist( though elastic in waistband feels a little lose and requires use of drawstring). bought for running in sub- freezing weather. normally run in tights when ≤ 40°, but decided to give this a try for when air temp or wind chill is below freezing to keep the legs a little warmer. done intervals, tempo, and easy runs and these feel great: not too loose nor too restrictive in the legs or crotch. perfect tightness on calf when zipped: tight enough to not ride up and loose enough to not constrict. not crazy about the cross- over- in- the- waist- band drawstring as it made tying the drawstring difficult. both side pockets are zippered; good enough for small, lightweight things( eg keys, ID card), but not a phone.( disclosure: i did n't use the pockets as i use a flipbelt for key, ID, and phone).

I bought a pair a few years ago for general exercise and discovered they are excellent for cool/cold weather mountain biking( and cycling in general). The tapered leg and ankle cuff keep the pants safely out of the bike chain. They dry fast, are stretchy and have zippered pockets. I bought a size medium and small to compare. I ultimately selected the small which initially felt too small, but turned out just right for a slim fit. I am about 5' 8 '' with a 30 '' inseam and weigh about 155 lbs.
