In both cases the pockets hold my phone, keys, earbuds, etc. I have fluctuated weight and at each stage I can still wear them comfortably. I have washed and put in the dryer but I would recommend for longevity to air dry only( or lay on top of a dryer). These are the best for extremely active people or for someone who wants to run a few errands. My favorite unconventional use is to wear to the airport layered under some sweatpants for extremely comfortable travel days.

I didn ’ t have high hopes for these( tbh i never buy nike because i just assume they dont make good running gear) but the magenta color short was calling for me. I sized up to a M even though the size chart says I should be a S, but i ’ m glad i sized up. These are EXCELLENT running shorts. The waist did n't fold over, even when i was sitting down. They did n't slide down during my 4 miles run/walk. I dont think i had to adjust the legs or pull the waist up even one time. There ’s no seem at the leg opening so i had NO chafing. I have always been a 6 ” inseam bike short gal, but i will be buying more 8 ” inseam shorts because of these. I want them in more colors! I think the only downside is that the side pockets are kind of small. I have the iPhone 13 mini, and it fits, but i dont think any larger of a phone could fit. The pockets are an appropriate size for gels, energy bars, etc. but definitely not the iphone pro max lol. Overall great running short!
