The Ultra Adventure is my fifth Sunday Afternoons hat-- and my first in this style. The other four are the Sport model. I got my first one eight years ago for sun protection and haven ’ t been without one since. I burn easily, and after dealing with some retina issues from bright light, I ’ ve gotten very serious about protecting my eyes. I also walk a lot near lakes and other water, where the sunlight can be really intense. These hats do a great job covering my face and helping block glare.( I still wear sunglasses too for extra eye protection.) They fit true to size. My head is fairly small and I wear the Small/Medium. One small note-- the slider in the back tends to loosen easily, so I secure it with a quick stitch of thread and that takes care of it. They 're super easy to clean. I just soak them in enzyme- based laundry detergent for a few hours or overnight, rinse well, and hang to dry. Even after all these years, my hats still look great. I keep buying them because I like the colors, and I ’ m trying this style for a little more coverage. Highly recommended for solid sun protection, especially for your face!

Hat is packable, lightweight, and had the best face and neck coverage of any I found. Also has a drawstring to keep it on. I haven ’ t used it yet but I know it will do what it ’s designed to and protect you from the sun. This is going to be my go to hat for kayaking. I love TNF wander shorts. A few summers ago they came out with two pocket version which were awesome. These are perfect for hiking, working out, and kayaking( super quick dry) or any outdoor pursuits. These are linerless which I prefer and feel comfortable.
