I have been running in Glycerins or similar Brooks for 6 years, these are completely different and Amazing. It ’s either the extremely light weight, or the carbon plate, or the rounded toe and heel, who knows, but they are Fast. They also like a high speed to feel natural, anything faster than a 8: 00 min mile and they really start to do what they were made to do- the shoe Becomes more efficient at higher speeds.

I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

This is my first pair of proper running shoes and I love them so far! Used to run in some old Asics I got on clearance, but now that I ’ m getting into running more consistently I bought these. I have very flat feet and collapsed arches, and these were recommended for me because of their supportive centre path tech. The first 5k i ran in these I got nasty blisters on the insides of the my feet where my arch was being held up. If this is the case for you, don ’ t give up on these shoes yet. I wish I had broken them in more slowly but they are super comfortable now. Ran my first 10K in these shoes, something I never thought I ’ d be able to do after having some pretty nasty shin splints and knee pain from playing soccer my whole life. I totally recommend these to any fellow flat footed runner, especially if you ’ re just starting out. I ’ ve taken them on trails, pavement, track, and they feel fantastic.

They are the best shoes for our trip to Greece! I have had this particular style for many years and each time I put them on, it is like walking on a cloud. They are very comfortable from the very first time I wore them. Putting on over 10, 000 steps daily in Greece, I visited ancient ruins, walking over cobblestone and rough terrain for 12 days. I was so glad I got this brand again. My feet were able to not sweat due to the uppers being breathable. The arch support was great. I ’ m slow and been running for about a year. 175lbs. About 9: 50 min marathon pace. I didn ’ t want a carbon plate shoe, and decided on the SB2 for my marathon shoe. I have now worn for most of my runs. Long, tempo, recovery, threshold, and even intervals- and race shoes for my marathon. I think they ’ re awesome at all of those, except, maybe not best for intervals- though they definitely worked- just maybe not best suited for that. No hotspots or slippage or issues, comfort was awesome- and the rocker is great! Super comfortable and I know they helped me reach my marathon goal with way more comfort that what I had done the majority of my training block runs in.( Puma Deviate Nitro 2). Towards the end of my block my training shoes were wearing down and I bought the SB2 ’s as my race day event shoe. I ’ m now at 100mi and they ’ re awesome. They are very big shoes. I am a size 10, and the size of these seemed like they had a bit more room than I was used to and a longer design than what I was training in( Puma DN2 mentioned above). I even ordered/tried on a 9. 5 but those felt a little too snug. So I kept with the 10. I think they ’ re just a bigger shoe by design. But even with being large they feel so light and help me stay comfortable at my higher paces. Support and comfort has been excellent! Definitely was a step up in comfort after training in my DN2 ’s for the block.

I really like this running shoe. I 'm slightly underpronated and the Gel- Nimbus 27 is great. Lot's of cushion and very comfortable for longer( for me anyway) runs of 5+ miles. I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. They are so comfy for longer runs and faster speed runs.

They are very light, fit like slippers and walk and run very well as they cushion your feet. Like other On Clouds, be careful not to scrape or use them for harsh conditions as they will tear or a hole can happen. They are meant for light to medium wearing conditions and do very well at that.

Great every day running shoe. Not built for racing but absolute cruiser that will take care of your legs. The dual layer foam setup is soft but stable while being very smooth. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of roll with a perfectly placed rocker. I believe the magic is in the rocker position and grade combined with the midsole setup. I was consumed with the Nova and Superblast so I didn ’ t try the first version. Probably a good thing. I ’ m surprised by just how much I like this shoe. I love Brooks in general but these shoes are amazing. I get all of my running g shoes a 1/2 up so I would recommend that. They do have a carbon plate but the cushion helps a lot from hurting.

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..
