Similar to the pants- very comfortable and like the dri- fit material. The string is a little long and I thought these shorts were going to be short and they are not. The shorts stop right above my knee, and I can see me wearing these a lot- basketball and for the summer. The depth of the pockets are a little deep so your phone wo n't fall out when you sit down, they are dri- fit shorts, so remember your phone may move a lot when you are walking fast or running. The waist is a little big, but I need to compare the size I wear, XL, to a smaller size.
