Work hours not compatible with gym memberships and ETHOS Rubber Hex Dumbbells were perfect compliment for home workout regimen. [ I weight lift 4- 5 times a week, so I use these often. My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I 'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments( hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. Wife and I bought these a little under a year ago for our homegym. Prior to that we had a couple of pairs of standard metal dumbbells. We wanted these to replace them and have more variety and they 've been perfect. I know people with the 552 adjustables and they 're all plastic and have broken pieces after owning for not too long. And they ca n't replace the parts so they 're just sol. These are all metal weighted parts with plastic/ rubber handle assembly and plastic weight adjusting slot piece. The only piece I could see breaking is the plastic slotted piece used for adjustment and that's only if you 're careless as it seems very durable and flexible. And if it were to break it would be breeze to replace. And you can buy expansions to have an even larger weight selection! 100% recommend these to anyone looking for a set of adjustable dumbbells. After almost a year of regular use they 've been incredible and have almost no signs of wear.

I did spend on my normal Olympic bar but got this one to save money and get skull crushers in. First thing I did was a practice curl and noticed the noise. Shot some Blaster into the gaps on each end( pic) and no more squeak. Definitely glad I did n't pay more for this type of item. This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. This piece of machinery is amazing, I have yet to go to the gym after I got this. Works great and has pretty much everything you need besides leg attachments but can do squat and deadlifts so its not a necessary thing. Overall this Cage is amazing and very sturdy. Most dumbbells' weight sets include curl bars as part of the total poundage, but this vinyl weight set is fully 40 lbs of weights, which means to add the weights to your leg developer, straight bar, etc., you can count on 40 total pounds. The compact bar is really nice because you do n't have extra bar that's unnecessarily sticking out and for storage as well. The spring clip collars are easy to use. Pro: I have only had the bench a couple of weeks, but in that time I have found it a very sturdy and versatile piece of equipment. The adjustable back allows me to work my chest from multiple angles, hit my rear shoulder and back with chest supported raises and dumb bell rows, and the leg attachment lets me finish off my legs after a squat work out. Con: The major issue I have with the bench is that it sits kind of high off of the ground and I have kind of short legs, so I have a hard time getting a good leg drive on my bench.

First, the instructions for putting this together were first class. They were very clear, and each step's nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped to a labeled piece of cardboard with drawings of the included nuts and bolts. Secondly this is a very durable bench and has gotten a lot of use by the whole family. My single complaint is that I am short( 5' 3 '') and while I can use it, I would have felt better if it were an inch lower to the ground. However, perhaps a tall person would be inconvenienced by that. I can certainly reach the leg curl rollers, so it works fine.
