The stitching of the netting on the sides of the bag are coming undone/fraying a bit but otherwise its in good shape. It works great as a gym bag, weekender, etc. but poorly as a travel bag as it does not fit carry- on dimensions and it stains rather easily and can get dirty quickly.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. The shoulder straps come in key since the bag can fit a heavy amount of clothes.

I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. I bought the Pollinator Orange in person at a local store, after it being the one orange I was like `` maybe it's too bright..? '' In person, it is much more of a brighter burnt orange, and I was instantly in love. I was searching for a duffle for its soft body vs any other luggage to have something easy to pack( big and roomy) and easy to grab and carry( handles on the sides of this bag, the backpack straps, or top carry straps!). I use it to pack for weekends at my partner's and future plans and it fits SO much!! The duffle is designed to fold into itself for storage as well and the wrapped outer part becomes a pocket accessible from in and outside of the duffle. The Nouveau Green looks a little more teal in the photos, more dark green in real life. I wish the piping were n't chartreuse. But it's sturdy, amazing that it can fit in that small pocket, though I doubt I can get it all back in there. Expensive for what it does, but all recycled and Patagonia is a conscientious company. It does fit in the overhead bins, despite being larger than the 40L that is more explicitly aimed at carry- on.

These are great duffel bags! I ordered the red, green, and white ones. I ordered the small size, because I just need it for daily trips to the YMCA f and maybe for a day or two trip here or there. It will hold a pair of shoes and a basketball, my swimming gear, and a change of clothes no problem. I use the shoe garage for a basketball and put the shoes on the other side to get the extra room when carrying both. If you are looking to carry a lot more I 'd move up to the medium size which I purchased at first, but it was just to big for my needs. The small is perfect in my opinion. The red and white bags really pop, but that Oregon green really takes the take. The black option looks ok too, but I just like the other 3 colors better.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. The shoulder straps come in key since the bag can fit a heavy amount of clothes.

I actually have two of these and they are fantastic bags. 5 star. I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. Could be a duffle, could be a backpack, nice separations for travel. Great personal bag for an airplane. It looks slick. More comfortable of a backpack than the basecamp duffle for sure. This pack is very nice! The separate packing pockets inside the clamshell are great for organizing items. I read several reviews before purchasing and was afraid to get the 42L due to size, however I ended up returning the 35L for the Allpa 42L for a little more room. I have several sizes of these bags I use for various adventures.( not a hard core adventurer) All have been tough, rugged and weather resistant.( I would n't dunk them in water but do n't worry about wet ground or rain) The handles and shoulder straps are comfortable. Bag is big and voluminous. I wish there was a compartment on both ends and/or a way to section the one big space.

Only complaint is that I did n't purchase this sooner. I got tired of seeing my travel partners `` glide '' thru airports while my bag would often tip over and seemed much heavier than theirs. I love my new pack, and I am currently traveling with it in South America. The compartments fit my packing cubes perfectly, and the shoulder straps are very comfortable. I ’ m pretty sure I could travel for several months out of this pack, if I stayed in a similar climate zone. I ’ ve been able to carry it on to all of my flights so far, and fits easily in the overhead compartment of the jets I have been on. I had one zipper malfunction of with the top compartment, as the key clip cord was caught in the zipper, and I had to cut the cord to get it open.

I own the Allpa 28L and 35L and this 42L is even greater! It ’s the same great pack but more room and space. Recently took it on a trip and able to carry onboard and fit in the overhead. The materials and compartments are best in the game. A tad bit too big on international flights, but most domestic is fine. It carried up to 2 weeks of clothes along plus more room for other small accessories. Love Cotopaxi bags.

The wheel are tough and sturdy and easily traverse the jet ways and jump on to the plane. Fits easily down the aisle and rolls smoothly to your destination. I like the zippers and sipper pulls but they could be a little stiffer as sometimes if not packed full you really have to tug on them to get them moving. We will see how the nylon bottom and side hold up to airport luggage handlers as well as the telescoping handles but combine with the larger one I can have my essentials with me as the rest of my gear rides securely down below.

I purchased this travel cover for a trip to CA, i am from MD. The cover held up fine during the trip and fits my clubs very comfortably. There is also a separate compartment for my shoes which is helpful. I can see the zippers possibly becoming an issue down the road but you get what you pay for.
