I love these boots. Please never discontinue them. They are comfortable and affordable. I like the way they look as they do n't have any bright orange highlight colors. They also have the four quick lace metal tabs for the laces which I think are a must. I 've bought two pairs in the last two years. My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. I 'm glad a made the switch to Carhartt for working boots and use Timberland for what they 're known best for, just fashion. Thank you from a proud hardworking Detroiter.

My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Second pair of these boots. Wish they came in half sizes. We put an insert in them and they fit better though. Freest boot that fits snug to the calf without cutting off circulation. I 've had this boot for a little less than a year and they have changed my daily life. At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. I 'm on year three of having these work boots. I work in Bering Sea Alaska area. They are very comfortable and waterproof.- 25 Fahrenheit was about the coldest that I wore the boots in, they start to be a little cold at that point, but its rarely that cold here anyway. I walked on ice alot and felt like the traction was better than most my peers on the same surface.

I had a great experience with this boot. Switched from a different boot manufacturer which lasted about 1 year and tried these out for the first time. Very sturdy for me, lasted over a year and a half with no issues. I finally had to call it because the laces were starting to fray around the speed hooks but still good amount of tread left. Not the best in terms of non- skid but very comfortable. Going to try a second pair since the newest brand boots I was testing failed within the first 4 months of light use.

I am sad to admit I am sitting in my work truck with my boots off because my feet are soaked after 4 hours of work... my rain pants busted out the whole rear end from the poor seams. Wilco happily returned them after wearing them 1 day. My boots are definitely the most upsetting in this situation. If you plan on purchasing these boots, I would not plan on staying dry for to long. TBH I read all the reviews and the ones complaining about heavy use, you ’ re probably overweight and overworked. If you ’ re in a bullue collar field you ’ re most likely making bank so stop complaining and it ’s your feet change the shoes every six months. I ’ ve had mine for about 2 years now and it ’s worked fabulously. Lightweight, durable and everything is functional. Get over yourself, if you ’ re using them 50- 60 hours a week of course you ’ ll destroy them. Take care of your feet!

I bought these boots 2. 5 years ago and just bought a new pair. I really didn ’ t need to because they still hold up. I didn ’ t perform any care for these boots and they ’ ve held up amazing. I wore a hole in the toe crease point and the leather began separating from the toe about a month ago. I ’ ve worn them through my metal fabrication jobs a short term at UPS( immense amount of walking) and even plumbing putting a lot of wear and tear on the toes of these but they still held up. Metguards added in the past 3 months. I ’ ve been drenched while plumbing and in the rain. I ’ ve worked in these while dealing with more than 3 feet of snow through the cold seasons. I personally stay away from the models that have zippers I ’ ve never had a good experience with zippers. Worked most weeks as 7/10s or 6/10s and still wore them casually. I couldn ’ t recommend them more.

Carhartt got rid of these for quite some time and I was forced to go to another company to replace my work boots which sucked, happy to see these are back up. I have already bought these 4- 5 times, union outdoor electrician with very few options as a woman in the field. These have a great fit for me, comfortable and no need to break in before wearing all day, no tight toe box. I bought these boots in 2021 and 2 years later they are still in good shape. I wear these for work, hiking, and just out and about and they are comfortable and lightweight for safety boots. They need to be broken in for at least several days in the beginning and any time you go a few weeks without wearing them. The only noticeable wear is the sides have weakened out a little and fold slightly and the rubber traction on the bottom is wearing out after lots of time on gravel roads and rough terrain. One downside is they are not waterproof do have water seep in if you are hosing them down or stepping through deep enough water, so I wear different boots for that. The photos are what they look like after 2 YEARS of constant wear and tear on a construction site.

I have had these boots for 5 years. Humping through the snowy mountains of Vermont on the job. Taking them off and on tens of thousands of times in customers homes. They have gone under many houses, crawlspaces, and under porches. In knee walls and trenches. Put away so wet that my socks were soaked the next morning( step in knee high snow and any boot is gon na get wet). I 've only had to change the laces on one boot. All I ask is that my boots hold up to the abuse I put them through. I wore them untied during the summer even, and the backside of the inner heel has just started to wear through. Only on one side again! They are waterproof, durable, comfortable and dang if they do n't look good. I have n't even looked to buy a new boot since I got these and thank goodness I had n't rubbed off the tag yet. I hope they 're just as good 5 years later. I probably wo n't need a new pair until the end of this coming summer, still gon na stock up now!

Great boot I have many pairs in different colors. I work in these boots and they hold up pretty good. The sole is a bit soft and wears quickly but other than that it's pretty strong

These boots are durable. I wish they had better grip on the bottom sole I went on a newly installed roof in a residential area which the roof material was made of some new white colored vinyl roof material and I would slide while walking to the service a HVAC package unit. These boots break in easily and mode to your feet which is a huge plus for me the last set of boots I purchased was Georgia boots which never got broken in and they were uncomfortable to work in

I bought these boots over a year ago. So far they have been pretty good. I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. I ’ d recommend them highly since I haven ’ t had much issues with them besides the two mentioned and have found them super comfortable

I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

Had these for over a year now and there are a lot of hard hours on them. They are still my go to but the tread is almost gone, but still plenty of traction. Initially I purchased them just for work but I like them so much they are all I wear. I have to admit the yellow over molded rubber on the sole looks nice but it sheds pretty easily and that was a disappointment but they have been such a good boot that I still give 5 stars. Will definitely order more of them. Extremely light, and comfortable yet very supportive and rugged.

These are my favorite boots. I did n't treat them gently and i worked on non- skid for years in them. I finally wore the seams out and the sole started to separate but that was after years of being a great boot. Very comfortable and durable.
