I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

These are not as comfortable as my Hoka Bondis, but they are still pretty good; I wanted these GTX so I had a waterproof pair for traveling in the UK. Size: I am 75 years old; I have worn either a 12. 5 or a 13 for the past 50 years! I never before put on a pair of 13s and found them to be too small. And not even a little, but waaaay too small! As someone with a lot of foot problems, finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and that look nice had been a challenge. After trying similar LL Bean and Timberland shoes, I finally got the Moab 3 from Merrell. After 4 years of daily use and frequent outdoors activity including outings with my son's scout troop, the upper started to crack where my foot flexes. The sole and lining was still in good condition with reasonable wear. With a rainy camping trip looming, I got the replacement pair and have been just as happy with the new shoes as I had been with the old ones. This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. Excellent boots for summer to fall hiking that will last.

I bought these for a trip to Scotland, which I have n't gone on yet, but I 've been wearing them around town to break them in to get an idea if they 'll be comfy or not. So far, they have no `` hot spots ''. I normally wear a size 6. I bought a size 6. They fit true to size. My pinky toe( the usual blister spot) has no complaints. The toe box is comfortable- not too sloppy or tight. The heel( mine is a tad narrow) is also feeling happy with the width. My ankle bones are picky and a bit thin- skinned, so that was my hesitation on getting taller boots. I 've worn them several miles, and for several days, all day, and there's no hot spots on the ankle either. The stone color is pretty, and I love the contrast with the lavender colored laces. The laces are easy to change out. The boots are light weight, so your legs do n't get tired. It has n't rained, so I ca n't attest to the waterproof- ness of these, but the tongue is attached almost to the top- about where the eyelets change to hooks. The tongue is padded. I wore my zero cushion wool socks with these and my feet were warm and comfy all day.

I bought these for a recent trip to Banff, Canada and they were amazing. They arrived only a few days before the trip so I was worried I would have issues with breaking them in but no problems! We did an 11 mile hike the second day of wearing them and I only got one tiny blister( which let ’s be honest, probably would have happened anyway). I wore them multiple times on my trip and every time I was so happy with them. Highly recommend!

These are super comfortable and very lightweight for a mid hiking shoe. The outer is only slightly tougher than a normal running shoe, but waterproof. Of course the outsole is much grippier. They are exactly what I was expecting from the description. I needed something with more ankle support but did n't need a heavy duty leather hiking boot. Very pleased!

I climb Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona every day. It's 5- miles, 2, 400' of granite boulders with no soft places, no dirt, only sharp- edged rocks to tear up your boots. The mountain has torn up many lesser shoes and shredded all competitors. I 've hiked with XA Pro 3D for ten years and recently switched to the Ultra 360( same shoe, better padding). Everyone I 've recommended them to has stuck with them. Nothing comes close! I highly recommend these for tough terrain.( They 'll probably do great at easy terrain too, but I do n't go there.)

I have been a loyal Moab mid boot wearer for years, having owned and worn through 12 pairs or so. The Moab Speed 2 shoe was a game changer for my feet. I usually suffer from some typical small hot spots during multi- week backpacking trips, but these shoes were an absolute dream on a 26- day trip on the John Muir Trail. The breathability of the non- waterproof shoe is excellent, but they also held up incredibly well against the rough granite of the Sierra ’s. I will absolutely be buying this shoe again!

These have become my go to shoes. I teach elementary school children in an outdoor classroom and wearing hiking boots can get kind of cumbersome. These have the same vibran soles, heavy tread and waterproof uppers and are lighter to wear. I highly recommend. True to size with a roomy and comfortable toe box. Snug enough on a narrow heel.
