My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I 'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments( hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. And you can screw the collars on snuggly so that the weight plates do n't rattle around like other quick- adjust dumbbell sets( and this set costs far less). It's a decent weight set. The problem I have is that when I called customer service to ask if the bar was one piece, I was told it was. I wanted the one bar strength in order to increase the weight. They were wrong. It is a 3 piece bar that is screwed together. It seems sturdy but I 'm not sure exactly how much weight the bar will hold now.

Most dumbbells' weight sets include curl bars as part of the total poundage, but this vinyl weight set is fully 40 lbs of weights, which means to add the weights to your leg developer, straight bar, etc., you can count on 40 total pounds. Good set of dumbbells that replace what would have been a lot of weights. Good, compact design means they do n't take up a lot of space in a small home gym, which is great as that's what I 've got. Comfortable to hold for me( I have small hands) and easy to use to change weights. I got these specifically because they offer 2. 5lb increments across the weight spectrum: especially as you go up in weights, sometimes adding 5lbs per hand can feel like just too much for me, so the 2. 5lb option was fantastic. That said, they are a bit on the pricey side: more so than the other options, and they 're not expandable, unfortunately. I knew that when I bought them, and I do n't think it 'll be an issue for me for a while, but it is something to consider before purchasing.

I purchased these a month ago and have used them almost daily. They are very comfortable. Before I purchased them, I was n't sure if I 'd like them. I 'm so glad I bought them because I 've found I really I like the softness of the dumbbells and they do n't get slippery if I sweat a little. These handweights are soft filled, weight in kilograms accounts for the pound weight being what it is. Let me first say that these dumbbells are perfect. No nonsense, rugged, and they do exactly what they are supposed to. However, do the math. I bought these at the store piece by piece and it was much cheaper. Maybe this set comes with the stand but if not it is cheaper to go buy them at the store.
