I used it multiple times for racing and swimming in the pool with Aqua Sphere goggles and for diving/snokeling in the Ocean in the Big Island and Kauai, Hawaii and it stays on like glue and does not interfere with my goggles or mask seal. I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. The brim has lost a lot of its firmness over the years, but it still retains its shape and does not sag or has gotten wrinkly. Recently I purchased the BlueStone color of this hat and it ’s beautiful. My grey one is my main garden hat now the blue one has replaced my daily use.

I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. This is one great hat. I backpack, so I need a hat with neck coverage, and a broad brim in the front. This is the second time I ’ ve had this very same hat. The first one ripped after many years of use.

Lightweight, great coverage, looks good as it fits actual head shape vs stiff shape. I was debating between s/m and l/xl as I 'm in the middle. Went with s/m as it can stretch a bit. Could have gone either way.

Hat is packable, lightweight, and had the best face and neck coverage of any I found. Also has a drawstring to keep it on. I haven ’ t used it yet but I know it will do what it ’s designed to and protect you from the sun. This is going to be my go to hat for kayaking. I ’ ll probably look a bit silly but I don ’ t care because I want to protect my skin and that ’s the main goal here with this hat.
