I ordered the Merrell for the first time in years. I usually need a wide shoe but occasionally can get by with ordering a 1/2 size up in a regular width. The trouble is knowing whether I was going to be an 8. 5 or a 9 in the Merrell shoe. This 9 Merrell still fits a bit too snug for me. I also got the same pair in black in the 9 Wide and it turns out the Wide shoe will become my everyday shoe and this one will be pulled out when I need a lighter color. They are light even though they have a Alloy Toe I can appreciate that. They need a break in period( my last carhartt boots were not a safety toe& needed no break in time) These boots have given me 1 Big blister on 1 big toe( Odd) this is why I say they need a break in period my toes need to get used to this toe box with the Alloy. My job is VERY dirty& these clean up easily& are comfortable.

My first Georgia boot 😀. I ’ m 9 1/2 wide and these fit well. The collar was uncomfortable at first. They have traction in mud, snow, slush, but, not so much on ice. The waterproof feature is great to keep feet warm and dry. I have a hard time with shoes fitting and not falling apart. Only had a month but so far I ’ m very happy. I love the way they look and the colors. I wear work boots often and will be looking into Georgia brand( wide width, nice colors, and stylish, please). I bought these on sale. I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

I truly enjoy dog walking, in the dewy morning, with dry feet. However, the toe box of these shoes seem tight, toes feel smashed. The shoe fit perfectly everywhere else so, I do n't know if a bigger size will fix that problem or just make the shoe to sloppy everywhere else. These are an awesome sneaker. I love a slip on shoe and these allow you to have a slip on style shoe but still feel nice and snug with their lacing system. The padding around the ankle and heel is SO soft and comfortable. It feels like a tempur- pedic pillow for your foot/ankle. These are great for a trail but also just for normal walks or going around town. My only recommendation for improvement would be that the end of the laces/string bounces around a bit while you are walking. I have just been tucking them back under the laces to fix this but would be nice if there was something on the shoe that could do this for me. Either way, awesome shoe!

They ’ re absolutely as comfortable as my Moabs 2, and it ’s even better that I can wear anywhere with any style! I do suggest a half size up for extra toe space. I was really surprised how much I liked these. They were definitely a bit of an investment for me, but I wanted to get a pair of shoes that I could wear a little more often. I have worn these on a few light hikes on gravel with my dogs, two days in downtown chicago, 6 miles each, and i now understand what `` energy return '' means. These shoes give you some extra `` spring '' in the ball mound of your foot and feel really lightweight. I like the lacing system but I think people will overtighten these if they 're not familiar with how to use it. I have n't gotten them dirty yet- I do n't want to! They 're too pretty.

Although I have n't actually worn them yet, it is very rare that I find a shoe that is comfortable on my foot, right out of the box. I used the online fit guide tool, and they are perfect! Keens are absolutely awesome! These are my 10th pair of Keen shoes. I have all different styles and they are all comfortable right from the start. There is no break in time for them. I got these boots just a few months ago and have already hiked over 100 miles in them and have had zero blisters or sore spots!( I am training for the Camino in Spain and these will definitely be my boots for the trip!). I have also been out in the rain with them a couple times, and along with my rain pants, my feet stayed dry. I intentionally splashed around in puddles like a little kid and my feet stayed completely dry and warm! My favorite feature of Keens is their wide toe box. While they make your feet look a little big, I do n't care. Being able to wiggle my toes and not have that tight fit is worth a million to me. And because they are a little wider than other boots, they are very stable. I 've never have my ankle break over when hiking on uneven or soft ground. I ca n't say enough about these boots. I highly recommend them and will be a loyal Keen customer for life! Keens do also run a tad small, so I always buy a half size up to allow for a good thick sock. I 'm usually a size 6 1/2, but I buy my Keens in a size 7.
