Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's `` short '' I 'm 5' 9 '' with a longer torso and short legs( 30- 32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This IS N'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up( it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.

I bought this shell to match my carbide bib and I love it! I 'm 5' 5 115lbs and the XS is a tailored fit while still roomy enough to layer up with a fleece and thick puffy jacket. This jacket is light and would be great on its own for spring skiing. Taped seams, good ventilation, and lots of quality details.
