Bought this for a Christmas gift for our son after some problems getting set up due to the company that was scheduled to set it up the manager at the Bel Air Md store who took care of the issue and got it taken care of 4 days before Christmas. The first guy that was scheduled to deliver and set up came at 4pm and brought it in the house and then proceeded to tell us it was too late and we will have to reschedule, this was the 18th of December, after no return call from this company I stopped in my local Dicks store and spoke with the manager, he called back later that day and it was set up and ready to go 2 days before Christmas. Set up took about 6 hours with 2 guys who do this for a living, I would recommend paying the extra for set up. The machine itself is very well- built solid equipment, does so many different things, make sure you measure your space. It does not come with weights, so you have to buy them separately. So far, my son and husband are happy with the machine.

This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. The balls have a true flight to them also, you can really hit them far. As accuracy goes its really like any other pitching machine you have to dial it in and it will occasionally throw some bad ones. The quality of the Marcy NS- 652 is fantastic. The size is easy to move from storage to use. The assembly is very easy too. I had to have my husband shorten the seat an inch. I am petite. I prefer water rowers to any type of rower. You can fill it as much as you like for a strong or light resistance. I keep mine on the lower end so I can row for 15 minutes. Easy to move you lift up the front and you can push it anywhere with the wheels on the back. I pull it out into the sun and other days I keep it in the garage.

It is a little short for me( 6' 4 '') so might try to figure a way to move the foot rests back a bit to gain a couple extra inches. I 've only been using this for four weeks. The product is sturdy and well constructed. The nylon strap looks and feels like it will provide lasting use. The handle is easy to grip and comfortable in the hands. The seat is comfortable and I 've had no issues with it. I 'm starting out with 30 minute sessions on low level to work on my technique and form and very much like the steady resistance. For older first time users on a rowing machine( I 'm 66), if you have n't already been exercising regularly this will give you a good initial workout at level 1. If you 're like myself and do regularly exercise but have n't used a rowing machine, once you feel comfortable with proper technique and form you 'll be ready to push upwards and this machine has very good resistance settings and built- in programs that will challenge you. This rowing machine is wonderful! I did not want to give a full star down- rating for only a minor issue, so will leave my rating at 5 stars. The only issue had to do w/the LCD display attachment. There was a one of 4 screws that did not fit properly in the mounting hardware and my display ended up in a crooked position. The assembly was more complicated than I expected( it took me an hour to get it fully out of the box and assembled), but it was worth it once I got the whole machine together. I was only able to do 2 minutes on it my first time and my thighs had a good burn going! I also felt it in my lats, shoulders, biceps, and my core a bit, just after 2 minutes on it. I like that you can adjust the resistance and the seat easily. I have n't tried the resistance band cables yet, but I 'm looking forward to it to target my inner and outer thighs like it shows in the video. This machine does n't feel like a beginner machine- I work out already, and like I said, after just 2 minutes on resistance 3, I had to take a break and my legs were burning! If you 're a beginner, you may have to work up to being able to be on it for several minutes at a time. It gets your heart pumping, too!

I love my new rower, Phantom Hydro from Sunny Health. I did so much research on something that gave you a good workout, that was sturdy and of great quality, really nice and simple. We are converting one room in our home to a home gym. This rowing machine is equal to any commercial machine I have used in a gym. Smooth and easy to use. Set up is a little challenging. The biggest problem is getting the pin in( correctly) that holds the two main pieces together. Even in the video the guy does n't have it right the first time, but it is corrected later in the video. Be patient this part is a pain. After it is together you will have a great machine and be very glad you bought it. I am so impressed with Stamina products that I bought a recumbent bike, that just came in today. I am looking forward to getting it together and giving it a try.

We assembled it quickly and easily( we are NOT handy people) and it works very well. I 'm a beginner so I ca n't comment on the display- I 'm just trying to burn calories, not race. I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

I got into rowing at my local gym on this same exact rower and loved it. I deceided to buy one for the house( one of my greatest decisions) and tried Concepts and various hydro rowers. They did n't come close as far as comfort and also they did n't have a high enough resistance which I enjoy. The rower was an effective part of my routine for 3 years. Due to having to store it for a few months while remodeling the gym, I drained it. When I set it back up the bowl leaked. I purchased my Stamina DT Pro Rower, because I have been an avid hiker and my knees were starting to give up the long haul feeling. I had Stem Cell injections in both knees, and after the few weeks of rest needed to get a low impact form of exercise, to help strengthen them. So, how is it going? After 4 weeks, my knees are getting stronger and my core is making great improvement. How I walk and carry myself, takes me years back to a more fit time. The pulse recovery tool, which helps measure how fit your body is, by measuring pulse after the workout has been the best mental tool for me. After my first session, I registered a 4. 1 on the recovery score. Much worse than I thought I would be.
