These shorts are great. They are a good length hitting right at my knee and the fit is extremely comfortable. The waistband and shorts are two different materials like the photos show. The waistband is soft and comfortable while the short material wicks away sweat leaving me cool and comfortable. They also have a small zip pocket on the hip so you can store a key, ring, or other small items. The only thing with these shorts that was odd is just how long the drawstring is. Each draw string has to be at least 12inches long so tying them up is required when wearing them.

I bought the pink ones because I wear this stuff for everyday wear, in addition to hiking and camping. I love the shorts, and LOVE the fit, but the fabric really does stain incredibly easy. I would n't purchase these in a light color because they readily absorb stains and will NOT release them. Now I ca n't even wear the pink ones hiking because they would get so stained I would n't want to wear them for daily use.
