I bought these shoes at a local running store and I am in love with them! I never thought I could love a tennis shoe more. I bought them specifically for my job. I am a graphic designer most of the time but there are a few times a year that I am a photographer for my work and one is for a week at a time. It ’s about 4 hours of constant walking, bending, crouching and stretching which is not the norm for me. Last year I developed pain in my lower back that I had for many weeks after the event week was done and the event was a struggle to do well. I knew I couldn ’ t do that to myself this year and I know it ’s because of my shoe choice. I like back at my average step total for last years event was significantly lower than this year because I ’ m not in pain! I absolutely love the Guide 18s! I am training for a half marathon, typically run 30- 40 miles a week. The past few months, I 've gone through several other shoes, had lots of trouble with blisters. I have finally found my new favorite running shoes! I ran in New Balance Beacons for years, but can ’ t get them anymore. I also had foot surgery and need a shoe with a stuff forefoot. I ’ ve tried many of the high cushion shoes such as glycerins, ASICS nimbus and several Hoka shoes and they all fell slow and squishy. After much research, tried the Hyperion Max and I love them. I use them for daily runs are they are stiff and protective, but don ’ t feel sluggish.

This is my perfect shoe. I usually wear a 10W women's, but ordered a 10 Double Wide this time based on a prior review that this particular model was narrower than before. I 've spent the summer trying everything to alleviate my sudden plantar fasciitis from orthotics to Hokas and several other brands recommended by lots of sympathetic folks. I do have weird feet. This foam sole provides the comfort I need when running; making my knees and feet hurt less. My only dislike is the color I purchased. The light pink is just too light; shows dirt and wear easily. I wish I would have gone with a darker color.

These are my comfiest Ryka's and I own several pairs of Ryka's in different styles. By comfy I mean soft and cushiony. These are not extremely supportive like Hokas which can be stiff. I walk over a mile to and from work on city sidewalks and am up and about all day. These shoes help keep me moving.

The Devoted Walking Sneaker's design is brilliant. At first, you think, what's with this toebox! The width feels just right but the fabric top is oddly roomy with airspace above your toes. The fabric is not stretched tightly, so it's a bit loose. Your toes can move. Toe bumps are n't rubbed. PLUS the heel is snug. So, when you lace up, your feet stay put and do n't shift around. The snug heel plus roomy toebox mean your metatarsals do n't get pinched or achy. ALL THIS, PLUS the shoe bed is super comfortable with incredible cushioning front and back. For me, the cushioning is so good that I do n't even need my custom orthotics for bad metatarsals, something I 've required for 30 years. fyi my other favorite Ryka model for daily use is Devotion X Walking Shoe, which provides a fit that's more tailored with fabulous cushioning, also no orthotics needed. I wear my Rykas for everyday/all day use, long walks, and driving( 5- on- the- floor w/ firm clutch).

I ’ m in love with these shoes. I wear a 9 1/2 and ordered my normal size. The roominess of the shoe threw me at first, but then I actually wore them all day and loved it. My feet didn ’ t move around or feel unsupported. My feet feel great after hours of walking. I ’ m headed on a trip soon that will involve lots of walking, and these are the sneakers I will be wearing. I love them more than my Hoka ’s and even my favorite Nike sneakers. Ordered the black with the purple and would love to see these in additional colors please!

[ These have been so comfortable to wear during my daily walks and while running errands. They have a good amount of cushioning and have great arch support. The foam sole makes it feel like I 'm walking on a cloud. The mesh material makes them very breathable, even during longer walks. I love the bright blue color, which stands out in a good way.

Love them! Bought for work mostly because they match my scrubs perfectly. As with all Ryka shoes, I can just put them on and go. No break in. Never slip on my heels. These might run a tiny touch larger but not an issue.

I love the Devotion X shoes. Im able to insert my own orthotics into them. I 've tried some of the other Ryka sneakers like the Devotion X plus or the trail ones, but these are my favorites. Great color choices too. I travel everywhere in them.

This is a great style with nice color choices, but it's narrower than the Plus 3. There's less room across the toes and less vertical room at the toe area-- and I ordered the Wide width. The rest of the shoe would 've been fine, good cushy feeling like the Plus 3, but just a bit firmer.

I 've had issues with my feet in the past, but not in these shoes. My feet feel great after wearing all day. I love them so much, I bought another pair. I wear an 8. 5 in a shoe, but wear a 9 in these shoes as with most athletic shoes.

[ Some reviewers mentioned these fit snuggly, so I was cautious because I do have quite wide feet. I 'm glad I took the risk because though I do find it helps to make use of a shoe horn to ease putting them on, with thin running socks they fit just right! Snug but not too tight. I have arthritic knees, and these have the perfect combination of cushion and stability for walking on a variety of terrain, from light hiking trails to gravel to sidewalk. I had wished for different color options, but when they arrived I found the salmon color quite striking, so I 'm quite pleased with that in the end too.

[ Having spent many dollars on shoes to use for short to moderate hikes I am thrilled to have discovered the Danner brand and this particular shoe. I tried other brands, Merrell, Keen, Columbia, and all either hurt or gave me blisters so I continued to go back to a comfortable pair of 10 yr old Skechers which had many miles on them. The Danner Women's Trail 2650 shoes are perfect right out of the box, so comfortable, no break in needed, and I will be ordering the waterproof version as well.
