These shoes have been great and provide nice cushion and bounce. I ’ ve run about 50 miles in them so far and have held up nicely. Plenty of room in the toe box which is rare in running shoes. Will be wearing these for my races this spring. My previous shoes were Vaporflys and Alphaflys and so far I like these better. These have been much more durable to date. I ordered a half size up from normal and they fit beautifully.

I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

It ’s either the extremely light weight, or the carbon plate, or the rounded toe and heel, who knows, but they are Fast. They also like a high speed to feel natural, anything faster than a 8: 00 min mile and they really start to do what they were made to do- the shoe Becomes more efficient at higher speeds.

After a less enjoyable Vaporfly 3, I was ecstatic to try these on and immediately notice the similarities to the Vaporfly 2 which was previously my favorite Nike racings shoe. “ Adding lightness, ” in the words of Lotus, is the best thing you can do whenever you already have an incredible design. Laces have improved slightly, and are still the best on the market; these don ’ t stretch and don ’ t come untied. Durability is always the tradeoff with some foams, and is the only possible criticism of this pair.

This is a fantastic boot! I never liked Nike ’s other boots and usually went with Rockys or Salomons, but these really surprised me. I ’ ve put them through two years of hard wear, including two deployments. They ’ re great for field work, and surprisingly, they can handle the “ intense ” conditions of office life too( perfect for all you back office people who think walking to the water cooler is a workout!). [ I typically run around 30k a week in my local reserve. I found these shoes to be super soft and very responsive, which provides a comfortable ride on concrete pathways and on paved roads. The sole provides excellent grip and stability. The upper part of the shoe provides excellent breathability and helps to keep my feet free of moisture from sweat. It fits pretty much to the size indicated and has a wide toe box which allows my toes to move freely. The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. I also crushed my 5K PR in these shoes so I 'm loving how versatile and comfortable they are. Looking forward to trying out the Vaporfly 4 next! Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I 'd love to see more colorways. I actually worked in them the first night I got them and had several complements. I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. Alphafly 2 has been my only running shoe, so I ’ m sorry to see it appears to be on the way out. I hope the 3 is just as good. I love the booty fit without the need to deal with a loose tongue. Grab the loops at the top and back to slip on more easily. The laces did dig into the top of my feet, but problem solved with a Lydiard- style lacing( see photo).

These are by far the best shoes I ’ ve run in given I ’ m a forefoot striker. If you are a forefoot strike, you need to at least try these. I ’ m using them as trainers and racers. I ’ m 6ft 200lbs, I ’ ve run sub 3H marathons.

These Nike shoes have been life changing. For many years I ran marathons on Ascics shoes until my Son suggested I try a pair of these Nike Air Zoom Alphafly ’s. Amazing shoe! Best 10k time in 2 years during my first 15k run in them. They are so bouncy and light! I sized up half a size from my normal running shoe size as they are quite snug. I would pick these to run in every time if I had the option!

I usually run on Brooks, still do, but the first time I tried Alpha fly3 on the treadmill in Paragon, I knew they were going home with me. I bought my 2nd pair in 3 weeks! I love it not because it makes me run faster( cuts off 20- 45 seconds/mile) but it really hugs your feet well. No break in period. Truly fits like lotion. I 'm thinking of 3rd pair! Returned to running after a 40 year break. Six months in I decided to run a marathon on five days notice. I got these because they are supposed to reduce fatigue and make recovery faster. I ran sub- 4 at age 57 with six months of training and a five day taper. The next day I had no problems running six miles. Nineteen days later I ran a half in these and set a post- high school PB in the mile, 2 mile, 5K, 5 mile, 10K, 15K, 10 mile and half. In these shoes, I run like a different person.
