Our family has several stoves ranging in size for backpacking and kayaking to car camping to portable cooking for large crowds. This single burner is great by itself or in combo with a two burner or another single burner for weekend camping. You save the room on your picnic table and the power of this stove boils water in a jiffy for coffee and cooks up breakfast for six in a jiffy using the single burner griddle( sold separately) on medium low heat. We very rarely use our table top stoves anymore- the quality at 30k BTU output more than makes up for the added bulk if you have room. Get yourself a two burner with griddle and bbq box and save this one for pans and coffee making on an open flame so you do n't have to swap out accessories. Long honest review here and I want to start this review off with this is my very first full sized griddle. I have always just used the Camp Chef Sidekick Griddle on the Woodwind Smoker. Before buying I put in my time researching and looking at reviews and I am so happy I went with The Gridiron 36. This thing is sturdy, easy to use, and just looks badass. I am about 2 months in and keep saying I ’ m glad I stuck with Camp Chef equipment. First it arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together. Everything about it is fantastic. The lid is awesome and love how it ’s connected for easy on and off. The four burners and ignition is great and have not had a single issue. Extremely quiet when I turn it on. The shelves on the side are useful for everyday cooking and yes the one above the propane tank doesn ’ t fold down but that ’s okay I don ’ t fold them down to begin with even with the cover. Grease management is a breeze and love that it ’s in the front and easy access from underneath. I have the cover and griddle mat which I strongly suggest. IF you want some kind of critique or one thing I wish was different. I wish the line for the propane was not directly up front and in the rear, kind of hidden, but that ’s purely cosmetic and does not affect a thing. I ’ m over it already. My buddies have a popular competitor griddle and it just looks small and not as well built as the Gridiron 36. Next up is buying some of the magnetic attachments. After every cook I think I verbally say to my wife I ’ m glad I chose Camp Chef again!

Used mine this morning because we had a power outage and was reflecting on how great a stove this has been. We bought ours in 2018 for an extended power outage after a hurricane. I have to agree with the majority of the people that have rated this stove anyone else was rated at less than five stars absolutely has no clue what they 're doing. I have wiped mine down repeatedly with all kinds of cleaners etc the finish on this product is second to none it's well applied powder coat and it is solid and I mean solid is not cheap tinsy little metal like some of these old camp kitchens. I especially love the burners cooking in the wind they 've held up beautifully I 'm able to boil water at no time at all and the heat that's produced by those burners is fantastic it's the last stove I think I 'll ever buy I 've got a trailer and I 've got a Jeep and it's going in both of them!

Have had this for about 5 weeks, and cooked steaks, burgers, hash browns, eggs,& vegies. The cooking heat range is exceptional compared to my old grill. I bought a laser heat gauge to fine tune the exact heat I want, and it works great. The control knobs maintain the exact heat I want. Clean- up is the best part of this griddle. Start to finish less than 10 minutes, including re- oil for next use. The steaks maintain the juice inside, unlike my old grill, where the juice fell through the grills. The way that it folds out to be almost double the size so you have room to set things down, it's like an outdoor kitchen! The grease trap has been a cleaning life saver. [ This griddle was super simple to setup, but I do wish there was some kind of direction on what to do when you first open it especially how to coat it and make it non- stick. I also would have appreciated some sort of fun little recipe guide to get going. At first, the only thing I could think to make was pancakes... but after scouring the internet for some, we have used this for so many things. One thing I would fix though is the spot that you put the grease/mess into. Mine seems like it is a little on the crooked side, but everything looks even when you have it removed from the griddle.

I 'm pretty happy with this stove. It fits nicely inside my kettle, works well for larger pans( even up to 8 inches), and get's nice and hot. I paired it with stabilizer legs as with the large canisters it can get quite tall. The one downside is having to bring a separate igniter.

This stove is great it heats well, is compact, and is easy to use. I do wish the grate had a clip or something so it did n't slide out of the well when it's time for storage, but that is minor. We have it in a Plano box we use as a mess kit so once it is in there it's pretty secure. The only suggestion would be to put the knobs for the gas and the sparker on the same side. It's a little too wide with them on opposite sides to neatly store away. Otherwise I think this will be a great addition to our camp gear. We had no issues with the flame flickering in the light breezes we encountered. It seems that as long as you 're not cooking in a head on wind it would do well. Cooled down quickly, and packed away neatly. Thank you Coleman for offering American made products that are well built.

We are very happy with our purchase of the Ignite Plus Camp Stove. We just got back from a 2 week trip and used it almost every day. It fits our larger pans with ease, lights easily and has fantastic burner range from low to high. It is also very easy to clean and I love the adjustable feet to level the stove on sloped tables. It is very close to the same closed size as our old Coleman stove but doesn ’ t have the size limitations for our griddle or large pans. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.
