Seem to be waterproof and they are very comfortable. They do not squeak like my last pair of On so that is a big plug! Able to wear them traveling all day and be comfortable but they do make my feet sweat a lot. The green color is nice but impossible to keep clean. There is a mesh layer that dust and trail grime gets into and then you can ’ t get it out. I ’ ve scrubbed and soaked and they never come clean.

This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

[ LOVE these shoes!!! So cute and comfortable. Needed warm, waterproof shoes with traction for a trip to Iceland. Straight out of the box these boots were comfy- no break in time necessary. Running around, prepping for trip, they kept my feet warm and dry in negative temps and snow. Standing for 4+ hours at a time, no problem. These were the only shoes I took on my 7- day trip: walking, hiking, ice, snow, rain, airports, shopping on cobblestone streets- you name it, I did it and my feet felt great. Fortunately I did not experience standing in deep snow or excessive rain, so I ca n't speak to how waterproof they are in extreme climates- but the limited rain and snow I encountered my feet stayed dry. Traction was good on snow and ice, I did n't slip or slide once. Use the website measurements to choose your size- it was spot on. These boots look amazing on- they do not make your feet look big and the cream color with the pink laces... cute, cute, cute!!! I bought these for a recent trip to Banff, Canada and they were amazing. They arrived only a few days before the trip so I was worried I would have issues with breaking them in but no problems! We did an 11 mile hike the second day of wearing them and I only got one tiny blister( which let ’s be honest, probably would have happened anyway). I wore them multiple times on my trip and every time I was so happy with them. Highly recommend!

These are super comfortable and very lightweight for a mid hiking shoe. The outer is only slightly tougher than a normal running shoe, but waterproof. Of course the outsole is much grippier. They are exactly what I was expecting from the description. I needed something with more ankle support but did n't need a heavy duty leather hiking boot. Very pleased!

Have been wearing Targhee xx's for quite a few years. Obviously, they have worked great for me, and now my wife has a pair. I wear them year- around, on snow, ice, wet leaves, steep hillsides.... They are functionally waterproof- I wear low- profile `` walking shoes ''- not for serious stream crossing, but fine for tall wet crass ''. Only problem has been delamination and eventually leaking. Will see how the model for IV performs- just bought 3 pairs.

I even purchased the all black for work as LEO and use them daily averaging 20- 25k steps a day.
