I purchased the Men's Mt. Maddsen Slip- On Shoe in October 2022 about a month before a trip to Northern Ireland. I was looking for a comfortable hiking shoe. Having previously owned a pair of Timberland SmartWool slip- ons that were wonderful to wear, I gave the Mt. Maddsen slip- ons a try. They did not disappoint. The leather uppers softened and molded themselves to fit my foot so they have become my preferred shoe for working in the yard as well as hiking. They shed water well and the thick soles keep my foot out of puddles in the rain. After 2 years of hard use( I write this in 2024) the soles are worn, but no separation at all from the leather uppers. Very well made.( This is for the model A6660 made in Vietnam)

The Chaco footbed is nice and supportive, and the shaft is wide enough for easy on and off. Also love the finger loop at the back to help. These are snug at the instep if you have “ taller ” feet; it took a few wears to start to feel comfortable, and takes a shoe horn every time to get them on. Surprisingly roomy at toe box( which is where my width is). Learher and construction seem good. Cork later at the sole makes these a bit more casual, but colorwise, plays well with all the neutrals. I ’ ve had these for about 3 months now and I must say they ’ re my favorite boots to wear for work or going out. They look great, feel perfect, and are so easy to get on or off. The only thing is I feel so nervous about ruining them because of how much I like the look of them. It ’s made of Nubuck leather so you have to be careful about water damaging the leather, they ’ re not water proof! I could't find these boots at any retail outlet close by my home. I took a chance and bought them on line. I know my Iron ranger size and my 1907 size so I took a chance and purchased the same size as my Iron Rangers. Initially, I almost sent them back. They were very difficult to take off and to put on and they were stiff as heck.... That was almost 3 months ago. Today they are soft and comfortable and much easier going on and coming off. I 'm so glad I stuck with them!

Easily, this is the best pair of work boots I 've ever purchased. I work in IT and while it may sound like I sit at a desk behind a computer screen, I assure you, I am climbing, squatting, lifting, pulling, in cramped quarters, outside, on roof tops, in dirty crawl spaces... All in the PNW, so rain is a constant concern and not only are these incredibly comfortable but they 're sturdy, allowing me to feel confident that my boots will hold up under whatever pressure I put on them, keeping my feet, warm and dry. Buy a half a size lower for slip- ons and you 'll never have to worry about them getting too loose from wear and tear over time. I have two pairs now, the black pair and now the brown ones. [ Are these as comfy as a pair of slippers? No! But they are a great pair of casual work boots. They are firm and supportive…and light. They run true to size. They have a traction tread on the sole- not a smooth soft- sole, and they “ lean ” a little forward, making a walk across the warehouse or the parking lot a welcome activity! These are the work boots to get if you are in wet conditions. I just bought my second pair after the first ones started to crack a bit on the rubber shell. I got these a month ago and they are excellent. I am a firefighter and these are the best pair of station shoes I have ever had. Super comfortable and light weight. My back has never felt better since I bought them. I got a 10. 5 not sure how they would stretch, next time I ’ ll order a 10. They are true to size. Lesson learned on my end. I 've had these for a year now and they 've been my favorite pair of work shoes so far. Comfortable for the most part. My only gripe is that my little toe on my big ol wide foot hangs just behind the steel toe section. If I kick anything with the toe of the shoe, the steel cap jams into the tip of my little toe. [ Like everything danner makes it is great leather. I rock a 13 wide in sneakers and got a 12 wide for this boot. It fit snug at first especially around the top arch of the foot. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

I have been looking for a Non- Slip Work Shoe/Boot for 15 years and I think I hit the Jackpot!!! I have been a Georgia Boot Customer since I was in high school and could afford to splurge on my own boots so I am a huge fan. I am a chef and had not thought about Georgia Boots for the kitchen and that is a mistake I am so happy I am fixing. Non- Slip is great but the comfort is hands down the best I have found after 15 years of trying a different company every 6 months I wo n't leave Georgia Boots from now on. This is my shoe. Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

I came on to the Georgia Boot site looking for a new pair of boots. But I thought I would drop a review on my 12 year- old Giant Work Boot. Because in retrospect, they are the best boot I have ever worn. I have done EVERYTHING in them. Camping, hiking, yard work, home remodeling, etc. Rain, sun, snow, it has not mattered. These boots have passed the test. The tread is still in tact, and I do n't have one loose stitch. I 'm sure they wo n't work for everyone. They are heavy, rugged, and undoubtedly there are more comfortable boots on the market. But if you want a do everything boot, that feels bulletproof, that you can throw anything at them and they will ask for more, then this is it. For the money, the Georgia Giant Work Boot is amazing. Full stop.
