These boots are a bit heavy but they are very sturdy and the sole feels grippy. Good quality. the inside is comfy and cozy. I love the side zipper for easy on and off. I wear 6- 6. 5 in regular shoes and usually have to size up in winter boots because I wear thicker socks. I got a 6. 5 and it fits perfectly with enough wiggle room even with thick socks. I have n't worn them out yet but they feel warm!

The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I usually wear a hiking style boot which are functional for walking the dog, especially on trails but the Bogs look great and I was thrilled to find them. I happen to see them standing in the corner looking like something attacked them. One was ragged in the top so I bought a new pair. I found out what happened. Brida, our blue healer puppy was having a good time with Dad ’s boot. We have beef cattle and live Up North Minnesota where there is black dirt and clay underneath. I wore these for about a week in Finland in pretty thick snow and slush – they held up great! No scuffs, no damage, no leaks. I know it's only been one week of wear, but they feel really solid. I can imagine these holding up for at least 8 seasons. They 're also SO CUTE.

I specifically bought these as I needed some gardening boots that would keep my feet warm as well as dry. At first look, I could n't see where the insulation was located, but after being out in the yard in the winter, I 've been amazed at how warm my feet have felt. Also, I have fairly wide feet so in getting my usual shoe size, I was worried I would n't be able to use my thicker socks, but there is just enough room for that if it's really cold out.

I 've bought Bogs for many years. These are great boots that keep my feet warm and dry through Buffalo winters. I do add insoles to the boots to make them more comfortable and supportive. I have a wide foot and they fit well.
