I have more than one of these now- two for work& one for play. Fits fantastic, easy adjustment tab in the back. You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. I have some very pretty sun hats that I wear all summer. But I can ’ t wear them on bright, blustery spring days because they don ’ t have chin straps. I have the Adventure hat that is great for gardening but not what I wanted for walking the dog in the neighborhood. The Clear Creek Boonie meets my needs. Exactly what I needed! I have one hat that is similar to this, but I am wearing it in every single outdoor photo so I wanted another for variety. Then THIS hat came along that ’s reversible!! I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, but better! I love that it has a removable strap. It ’s there when I need it, but on a calm weather day I can remove it. I have more than one of these now- two for work& one for play. Fits fantastic, easy adjustment tab in the back. You can `` boonie '' it and scrunch the brim to get that sun that's angled to the side or shove it in your pack/pocket. Take it out and a hard shake will get the brim back. I run this through rocks, brush, sappy pines. No issues or snags. Breathes well and has some water resistance. One of the best things OR has made.

This is a nice hat. Well formed and plenty `` breezy ''. Size adjuster, when pulled tighter, tends to distort the inside sweatband a bit. That's a minor complaint, but it's a bit annoying. I like that the leather chin strap is removable. There are times when I like a chin strap, but they are rare.

Ventilation is worlds better, as it should, and it's a great option for hot, steamy days. Fit was good but a little small. I comfortably wear a Medium in the Charter and Charter Breeze hats. A medium with then EasyBreezer is a wee bit tight but wearable. If you 're on the fence, get the large and use the sizer inside the brim to tighten things up. My only two complaints about the EasyBreezer is that it needs a removeable chin strap and it needs to be offered in a lighter color.

My son and I both got this same hat for Scouts camp in the Adirondack mountains in August. It was HOT during the days, and these hats did their job keeping the sun out of our eyes. It made camp a lot more fun for both of us. They are not cheap, but very well made and appear to be durable. They also worked well keeping our faces dry when it rained.

Hat is super light and packs nicely in your pocket if need be. The brim is pretty flimsy, which makes it not so great for casual biking or strong winds. Not enough of an issue to give 4 stars.
