The fit is great overall, maybe a tiny bit large but nothing to complain about as the XL is intended to cover a range of foot sizes. I think this is a fantastic hat. I have tried many others over the years and this sun hat is the best yet. It gives excellent coverage, it is very lightweight and easily packable.
