I am obsessed with the Bessie Packable Jacket. It ’s everything I didn ’ t know I needed — lightweight, incredibly warm for how thin it is, and so easy to travel with. I love how it packs into itself and even turns into a pillow( seriously genius for flights or road trips). I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.

It's cute, and worked well keeping me dry and warm on a drizzly day walking around Seattle. However, I have broader shoulders and it is a little tricky to get off and on. Hoping I wont regret keeping it!

I have briefly worn this in the rain, but it was lightweight, comfortable and roomy enough to layer over my nano- puff jacket and another thermal layer under that without being too tight. Without the layers, it's comfortable. The hood provides good coverage without covering my eyes or mouth too much, but just enough. I like the color( turquoise), although my husband and I are now sort of matching..... I 'm happy with it.

I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly, I even have room to layer. I 've tested this coat in all kinds of weather and terrain, it's waterproof:) Love the color too!
