I recently purchased a pair of ferrosi shorts, 7 '' length. I 'm 5' 4 and I think the length is great. They are come to a couple of inches above my knee( long enough that there is no inner thigh chaffing) and the shorts are n't too tight in the leg opening( I 'm more curvy vs slim in the thigh). Almost the perfect shorts ever! So close!( just needs elastic in the waistband to be 5 star). What I love:( 1) the pockets are amazing- all women's bottoms should have such great, deep pockets, with a mix of zipped and buttons! LOVE that! They just need to fix this, and I would be buying all the colours and getting rid of all my other shorts!. Should you buy some? I think it's worth getting a pair, for sure. Functionality, quality, and flattering fit are superb. I wo n't be buying a second pair in hopes that Fjallraven will make the EXACT same shorts with some elastic in the waist! [ Shorts are form fitting, but not tight. Material is of a high- tech nature, not cotton. Dries fast and durable. Material is n't stretchy, but super comfortable. On a side note, I 'm happy that there is no back pocket. Strange at first, but now that I 've worn them a while I appreciate not sitting on my wallet. Literally. I 've bought my first pair in 2007 and I 'm still wearing them, did not have to repair them at all, and were my only shorts for 5 years in a row( I did n't choose to wear any other). I really like the upgraded mobile phone pockets, it does n't disturb you at all even when cycling, and I can comfortably put an umbrella in the axe pocket without even feeling it. The positioning of the pockets are great, they can only be disturbing when you fully stuff them, but that can be a really handy option, when you do not have a bag with you. I also like that there are no back pockets, it is much more comfortable for me like that when walking, and I can sit anytime, no need to remove my things from the back. Yes, they are expensive, but if you consider the durability it is a very good offer. I am buying the third one after 16 years. The one I 've bought 3 years ago looks like new, but the material becomes softer with the time. And they just look so cool, love them!
