I love these boots. Please never discontinue them. They are comfortable and affordable. I like the way they look as they do n't have any bright orange highlight colors. They also have the four quick lace metal tabs for the laces which I think are a must. I 've bought two pairs in the last two years. My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. I 'm glad a made the switch to Carhartt for working boots and use Timberland for what they 're known best for, just fashion. Thank you from a proud hardworking Detroiter.

I ordered Oxford dress shoes I saw my order confirmed for Oxford PTC. I liked how the PTC looked so I did not complain about it. When I get new shoe I usually have to buy a thicker foam insoles. The oil resistant does have a more open tread pattern so they wo n't collect the oil and dirt and cake up with it. However, these are not what I would call comfortable. The leather on the upper is very stiff and hard on your feet, the insoles are kind of hard. They are getting better as I break them in, but still not great. I 'm not sure I would buy a second pair after this one.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40- 60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily( dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me. Second pair of these boots. Wish they came in half sizes. We put an insert in them and they fit better though. Freest boot that fits snug to the calf without cutting off circulation. I 'm on year three of having these work boots. I work in Bering Sea Alaska area. They are very comfortable and waterproof.- 25 Fahrenheit was about the coldest that I wore the boots in, they start to be a little cold at that point, but its rarely that cold here anyway. I walked on ice alot and felt like the traction was better than most my peers on the same surface.

I had a great experience with this boot. Switched from a different boot manufacturer which lasted about 1 year and tried these out for the first time. Very sturdy for me, lasted over a year and a half with no issues. I finally had to call it because the laces were starting to fray around the speed hooks but still good amount of tread left. Not the best in terms of non- skid but very comfortable. Going to try a second pair since the newest brand boots I was testing failed within the first 4 months of light use.

I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. I am more than pleased with the purchase of these shoes and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a safety toe shoe in their work application especially if you do a lot of walking and comfort is something you are also looking for.

I bought these shoes in place of my red wing composite tenis shoe and I have to admit these are by far my new favorite work shoes. the shoes are very comfortable, usually i wear inserts in my shoes because of discomfort during 10hr shifts but not with these. The fit is just about spot on could be a little wider for my feet but now I know for next time. Also half the price of red wing so win win.

Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

These are where it ’s at. I previously had the tall chore boots and they were too hot and felt restrictive around my calf with the height. I prefer these because they are definitely cooler and the mid- height allows more range of motion.

Bought this boot two days ago and they are super comfortable. Have a slight issue due to break in around my ankle, but it's getting better. Great first pair ofant more Georgia boots!
