This is the perfect jacket for any type of cold weather! I live in a mild winter climate but tend to visit places where it gets a little chilly and wanted a jacket that would work for all the things. I sized up to make sure I have extra room for layering. On its own, it is perfectly lightweight and but still keeps me warm. On colder days, I am able to layer a sweatshirt underneath and stay cozy. For reference, I am 5' 7 '' and typically wear a size Large; purchased an XL and it hits right below my bottom.

It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

This is a fantastic lightweight and packable rain jacket. Very nicely constructed with sealed seem zippers as. Highly recommend to anyone wanting something light and not at all bulky. I use it a lot on the river fishing for those cooler early mornings to break the wind and obviously it protects from the rain.

Purchased the brown- It's a thin coat but surprisingly warm. Great for driving, dog walks, and running errands. It's a daily coat, definitely not for skiing or spending hours outdoors, if it's really cold. Cute coat, worth the price. I have been looking for a good puffer jacket for my upcoming trip to Paris. I 've tried on several different brands and styles of jackets, and none of them came anywhere near close, compared to the Canyonlands Hybrid. The slim fit is absolutely perfect and very flattering, and I really like the features like zippered side pockets and the deep- well interior pockets that will hold my larger items, making it perfect for travel.
