I love these boots. Please never discontinue them. They are comfortable and affordable. I like the way they look as they do n't have any bright orange highlight colors. They also have the four quick lace metal tabs for the laces which I think are a must. I 've bought two pairs in the last two years. I found the M width to be a little tight in the toe, but after a month they broke in nicely. This time I 'm going to try the W width. I 'm on my feet 45 hours a week. These boots are perfect.

These are a replacement pair for the same boot style i bought 2 years ago, They fit the same as the old ones. Just needed some new ones due to getting deer blood on the previous pair. I ’ m on my second pair. They last about 14 months for me. But I truly don ’ t mind because these are by far the most comfortable deck boot/shoe whatever you wan na call it that I ’ ve worn. I compare the soul of the boot to one of the “ helm pads ” that are nice and squishy and comfy to save your feet back and knees on those nasty days running in a 27 ’ cc. With these no matter where you stand you have a helm pad under your feet. I ’ ve had many pairs of the original 6 ” xtratufs over the years and one pair of all black leathers 6 ” boots for work and the sports are still by far my favorite. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Very happy with this boot and will probably pick up another pair in 2 years. The sole wears somewhat quick but thats what you get when it's a non- slip sole that doesnt track mud everywhere. These are the most comfortable work boots I 've ever had. I 've been wearing Timberland Pro's for the last 8 years but decided it was time for a change because there is n't enough protection from corn formation. With these I do n't feel rubbing on the top of my feet. The cushioned wedge makes it easier to be on my feet for 8- 12 hour long days. The strings are light weight and do not dangle ridiculously long they 're perfect. The only thing I would love for them to add is a cushion barrier on the inside of the boot that wraps along the ankle. I 'm glad a made the switch to Carhartt for working boots and use Timberland for what they 're known best for, just fashion. Thank you from a proud hardworking Detroiter.

I have no intention of using these boots for riding or cleaning stalls. I will use them for Winter Walk and forays in the forests and beaches shooting( photography) wildlife. I took them out for our first snowfall walk. They are comfortable and warn. It was 20 degrees and I wore only a dress weight alpaca sock. My feet were never cold. There was plenty room for me to wear a heavier weight sock. I did encounter some wet spots along the marsh and my feet were totally dry. I will note that these boots do not have lug soles, so they were slick walking up snow covered steep slopes. This is not a knock on these boots for me. I have Yaktrax Diamond grips and Kahtoola Micro Spikes- both fit over these beefier boot. I love the ease of slipping into with the optional pull tabs( which I didn ’ t need to use.). The last pair of “ rubber boots ” I owned were snug to pull on. The liner is great. I ’ m sure these will be what the doctor ordered for my Winter Adventures. I wear 10. 5 Wide typically. The 11 and Medium width were perfect.

I ’ ve been wearing these boots for about a month now and have nothing but great things to say. I would recommend these to anyone. I don ’ t have a particularly wide foot but I like to wiggle my toes a lot and the toe box has plenty of space for that. I used their online foot sizer with my foot as flat as possible and my toes spread out as wide as I could get them and was recommended a 9. 5 wide, they fit perfectly. Very well made. You can tell they are individually crafted in an old school manner and not just spat out in mass numbers and I love that. The leather is heavy duty and beautiful, I get compliments on them wherever I go.

I bought these 4 months ago. The break in process was miserable and super painful. I am a high school teacher I wear these 12 hours( or more) a day. They are extremely comfortable to stand in all day they feel like they are still breaking in. Extremely satisfied with these boots though there do run extremely big. I went a whole size down and I went with wide. I think I could have went a size and half down.

The leather smells of quality. The style is second to none and they just look good. However, there's a break in period but for me it took several months to conform to my legs. This is my third pair of Carhart's 6 '' Soft Toe Work Boot. I love them. They are tough, long lasting and comfortable. I use them for my everyday foot wear except dress occassions. I even take my daily four mile walk in them. I hike in them and hunt in them. For me, they are the best boot I have every owned in terms of quality. Bought these since I moved from AK over to the east coast. Wanted something lighter and a bit more breathable than the womens legacy boots. I wore these everywhere. Gardening, hiking, walking the dog 3+miles a day, to work, doing errands, slipping them on in the early morning to pick up dog poop. These were easy to slip on and off. My feet stayed dry. In the dead of summer, they can get a bit hot. My regular running shoes are even hot! but overall my feet did not overheat. The shoes had great traction. It's been about a year and they are still great. I may have worn down the soles from so much use. My only con is: the foot cushions might stick to your bare feet if you do n't wear socks.

I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. [ I like the fact they are lightweight but has a nice solid composite toe I do maybe 11 to 12 mi of walking around the building that I work in they are perfect it's like wearing tennis shoes but a sturdy tennis shoe that's what I was looking for I do own other composite toes to me they 're just too heavy for what I do thanks timberland!

They are water resistant and can be easily cleaned after a muddy hike! Just make sure to wear tall socks with them.

I bought these boots along with carhartt woman's rain pants to accommodate me and help keep me dry while working on the roads in PNW. I am sad to admit I am sitting in my work truck with my boots off because my feet are soaked after 4 hours of work... my rain pants busted out the whole rear end from the poor seams. Wilco happily returned them after wearing them 1 day. My boots are definitely the most upsetting in this situation. If you plan on purchasing these boots, I would not plan on staying dry for to long. Hiking, they are amazing fit and support around ankle. I will say a few puddle stomping, you may not soak all the way through.

I was thinking about getting XtraTuf boots for a long time but never had any reason to until I started needing a waterproof boot that wasn ’ t a full tall winter boot. I ’ m glad I got them. They aren ’ t breathable( as I expected) due to the waterproofing of the boot, but the fact that they are short boots helps them breathe a little more than a tall boot. They are very comfortable and I have even wore them for short hikes because I decided not to change my shoes. They have quickly became my everyday winter shoe/boot. I love the purple color, it is so fun, but when mud splashed on them it stays visible until you wash it off. The one time I did scrub them off they did clean up relatively nicely, but if you want an easier maintenance boot, I would get a darker color.
