Though I am a physician, I am somewhat of a physician skeptic. I had a relatively severe shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injury in college many years ago. The shoulder has never been the same, but `` tolerable ''. It had been getting worse over the past. year with significant pain, particularly with certain movements. I saw the orthopedic surgeon who recommended shoulder `` re- hab ''( physical therapy) and I was very doubtful that this would help. I read the literature that they provided me, got a set of resistance bands and started doing the exercises several times a week, as instructed. Much to my surprise and delight, my shoulder pain got much better along with my flexibility and functionality. I can now do exercises that I was incapable of doing two months ago with minimal to no pain. I was not looking forward to surgery and glad that I was able to avoid it.

It's a good resistance band so far. I picked up the 75 lb green band and it's pretty thick. I primarily use it for pushup resistance and having a longer arm length, I found that it provided the resistance throughout my movement. Others with shorter arms would probably have to grip the band a bit closer but I do n't think it would be a deal- breaker. I wo n't have to worry about the band's durability for quite a while as I 'm not using it all the time.

I 'm 62 and purchased this about 2 months ago. So far, I find it to be very good. I lift weights 3 days a week and use this Golf Forever the other 4 days of the week. It's not a `` muscle strenuous '' workout so it compliments my other routine. My weakness is with balance and flexibility so I believe over time this Golf Forever trainer will help because I 'm already seeing some benefits. Before starting it asks you what equipment you have so it can provide routines that you can do in addition to the Golf Forever trainer. I would suggest getting a good foam roller because the routines they have for it are good.

No carry case when bought from GG but I wouldn ’ t be carrying it around so it ’s meaningless. The equipment and program get results. [ I have n't been able to go to the gym in over 2 years because in 2019 i was recovering from an injury, and then you know... 2020. So i need Some equipment to get my muscles used to the gym routine i want to go back to. These bands are great. There are 4 resistance strengths and they all do pretty well. I 'm not used to these bands, so it's still a bit scary stretching them out so much. Even though I have them secured in place. My only true issue, is that the carabiner on the band itself is kind of small. The strap that wraps around the carabiner is thick, and it's a bit annoying to attach the handles. But, that's typically normal with a lot of gym equipment, so whatever.
