Went out trout fishing and they were ONLY biting on THESE lures! I went through at least a dozen different lures/bait without a single nibble before stringing one of these up. After that, all I used were these lures and caught all day long! I clipped an 1/8oz split shot on the lure right above the blade( making sure that the blade could still spin freely) to give me better casting distance with my spinning rod and it was just the right distance at just the right depth. I used a slow to medium retrieve method with nothing fancy and the result was amazing! There were several times in a row that I did n't reel in without a fish at the end of my line! I wrote a review 3 months ago but it was during the Summer, non spinnerbait season. However, I was able to use several different colors and I caught some large fish on these lures. I caught a 6lb striper on a Shad color and th blue 3- D prism ball. I was using a Berkley trailer. I also caught a a 5lb large mouth on it. So, Fall was extremely short this year so I am looking forward to Spring to really test these lure out.
