I like these a lot: They have a nice wide/not too wide footprint. They have good ankle support. They have great traction. They are very comfortable. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. But they are perfect for wet, slippery, or dry trail conditions and casual wear. To me, the picture makes them look like they have green trim: They are shades of grey, not green-- I was pleasantly surprised by that, and I think they are a good- looking pair of shoes.

The wrap mid ’s fit great, and you will love the wide toe box. I ware an 11. 5 in just about everything and these are no different. I live in the desert and the tread pattern is gripping on all surfaces so far no issues. It hasn ’ t rained here yet so we will still have to see how they grip on wet pavement and rocks. I ’ ve worn these Wrapt Mid Waterproof boots daily for the past 8 months as a residential electrician in Southern California. As someone who usually wears barefoot- style shoes( Vivobarefoot, Flux, Lems Primal, and Altra Lone Peaks), I was pleasantly surprised by how well these hold up in a work environment. Fit& Comfort: I wear a size 13( EU 47), and the fit is perfect. If you ’ re in between sizes or prefer a roomier fit, definitely go up a size. These boots have a bit more cushion and slight arch support compared to more minimal brands like Vivo, but in a construction setting, I actually appreciate the extra sole thickness. My feet feel supported without losing that barefoot connection — and best of all, they ’ re not fatigued at the end of a long day. Performance: Traction is solid with good grip, though the aggressive lugs can hold onto dirt and debris. It hasn ’ t been an issue for me in SoCal, but it ’s something to keep in mind in muddier regions. Waterproofing has held up well. Durability: After 8 months of use, the only real sign of wear is the toe box starting to separate slightly. Not a dealbreaker, but something I hope Merrell improves in future versions. Wishlist for Future Versions: • A non- waterproof high- top version would be amazing — same support, but more breathability for dry climates. • Stronger toe construction to improve long- term durability. Bottom Line: If you ’ re looking for a minimalist- inspired boot that can handle job sites, this is one of the best options out there. Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non- union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3 ’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid- foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. I ’ m a size 12 through and through, but these in the same size were tight. The toe box is smaller than normal. Also you need to take into account feet swelling and perhaps thicker socks. I wore these for the first time all day hiking around Grand Cyn Village. I was surprised there was no uncomfortable rubbing or stiffness which is very common with new hiking shoes. A lot of the comments say it ’s hard to get the shoe on, so much so they have the shoe a low rating …I ’ m not even sure what that means. They ’ re not loose slip ons like crocs, they require you to like put in a little effort to get them on but I got them on without untying the original ties. The heel is sturdy enough that it didn ’ t collapse under my own heel when I slid it in, which is nice. The first like 10- 15 steps squeaked a little but it very quickly went away.

I had a pair last winter and enjoyed them so much, when I saw an online sale, I bought a pair for next winter. I train dogs to move livestock and take care of livestock all year long. Warm feet in the winter months are important to me. It does n't get ridiculously cold in eastern Washington but we can see single digits on occasion... some winters lots of snow. I feel like I have some extra spring in my step with the thick cushiony heel on these boots. My only complaint is the elastic cord for the lace eyelets. On the left boot the cord is cut too long inside the shoe and if my foot is pressed up against anything on the outside it hurts. Other than that I ’ m very pleased.

This is my second pair of Konos TRS shoes and they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought last year. Taupe color is exactly as pictured and fits true to size. I 've walked trails and sidewalks in these shoes and have no foot pain and my feet stay put, no sliding in the shoe and no heel slips. Easy to clean up if they get dirty on a trail. Suggestions: wear ankle socks the first couple wears to break them in, I wore no- shows the first wear and had some uncomfortable rubbing on my achilles till about the 3rd wear.

[ I used to be a loyal fan of New Balance 940s, and then they got discontinued. I bought a couple online before they all disappeared, and then I finally wore them all out. I could n't find any other shoe in New Balance, Asics, Brooks that had similar stability, arch support and cushioning. It was disconcerting. I had a total knee replacement a few years ago, so all these new foam sneakers that allow the back/heel of the shoe to rotate laterally are not good for me. I finally decided I had to come up with a new approach to finding a sneaker. I saw these sneakers and thought, hey! If this is for trail running, then it's got to be made with better stability. I gave it a shot and was so pleasantly surprised! These sneaks have good arch support and have cushion that seems resilient vs. the cheap foam in a lot of new sneakers that just compress. There is good stability to prevent your foot from rotating side to side in the heel. I walk my dog at a fast pace 2x per day every day for about 30 minutes each, so I put on miles pretty quickly. Seems to be holding up pretty well! The logo is a bit large for my taste, but that's just cosmetic. The only thing that's a little odd is the material, which seems like maybe it's less breathable in the toe box area vs. the average sneaker. However, I ca n't really tell because it's still cold out, so when it gets warmer I 'll have a better idea of that. Overall, pleasantly surprised and very happy to put them on my feet every day!

I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal follower and buyer of Salomon boots for as long as I can remember. For at least the past ten years, I have worn them every single day. I replace my boots annually—not because they wear out or break down, but simply because I love the feel of new boots. In fact, I still have all of my previous pairs, except my very first ones( which I should have kept as well). Each pair continues to serve me in different ways. When I first purchase a new pair, they become my work boots, while the older ones transition into hiking boots, allowing them time to break in naturally. After about six months, I begin using the newer boots for hiking, always carrying an extra pair in my pack in case I need to swap them out—usually due to an issue like water getting inside. Let me emphasize that under normal conditions, these boots do not get wet inside. However, if fully submerged underwater—which I have done on several occasions—they will absorb moisture. When this happens, I hang the wet boot on the outside of my pack to dry while I continue my journey. I can confidently say that Salomon makes outstanding boots. They have been an essential part of my adventures, and I highly recommend them. Great boots, great company, and great experiences with Salomon!

10/10 comfort, good arch support that isn ’ t too intense for my fallen arch, super cushioned, really good grip, toe shield is a great detail. Laces are stretchy so you can get them as tight or as loose as you want. I even got my dad a pair and he loves them just as much. Most comfortable tennis shoes I ’ ve ever had. True to size.

These shoes were exactly what I was hoping for. I 'm a city girl who loves to hike, I wanted shoes that could go seamlessly from a rugged trail to a cute brewery. They are firm and stable like my hiking boots, but cute enough that I can wear them as normal sneakers if I need to. I love the versatility. I do wish I sized up though. I usually size up a half size with hiking boots since I wear wool socks with those. I did n't think to do that with these so I have to wear thin socks which is n't my favorite while hiking. I had already worn them a few times before realizing this error sadly.
