I started working out again and my hip was killing me. I do have hip dysplasia and my trainer recommended me to use this before and after my workouts at the gym. I do n't typically write reviews but today I was feeling like paying it forward. This massage roller is the best out there, and I have tried so many types. I bought one for my son, my husband, my father... you name it. The grooves in the bar help penetrate deep into the muscle and bring blood flow to the area. The handles are superb. I had half torn my plantar fascial tendon some 20 years ago in a athletic competition. This little tool is really helpfull to relieve pain when it comes back. It does seem to work preventatively, too.( If only I did not get lazy when the pain recedes...). I 've got both orange an black, they are both pretty good. I would say black may be even better when not having an acute pain- it goes a little deeper.
