These light- weight hiking boots are ideal for my foot which has a Morton ’s Neuroma, I ’ ve had a lot of trouble finding a boot that didn ’ t hurt when I hiked and this is the one. It has a firm sole which supports my foot as I hike over rocks and roots, the medium ankle height prevents the ankle from turning. I highly recommend this boot if your foot is like mine.

My Vásque hiking boots died in the middle of last winter. They were thick leather with Thinsulate. I found these at a sports store. The Gortex works almost as well as the Thinsulate in keeping my feet warm with its reflective properties. Roomy toe box, comfortable step through, grippy tread, good lacing, and darn good looking.
